1: Seeing as how he is really using lethal force against the bad guys committing dangerous crimes, I don't think that is enough unless the work really steers it into morally grey territory. Especially if it's only implied.
2: TBH I don't really think that is even xenophobia. Cars is a kid's franchise where I don't think any bigotry or discrimination is even shown to exist. I think this is nothing more then just making fun of the bad guys rather then meant to be a genuine display of bigotry.
1: Please do not ask why X character isn't hear. It's rude and gives off the impression that we are obligated to add certain characters here.
2: Punisher has a whole doesn't count becuase his "criminals must die" mentality often gets mocked when he collab with other heroes.
1: being perverted is not an automatic DQ let alone shooting someone an "uncomfortable look" and if it's a just a novelization of a canon work then it's likely not worth worrying about.
2: Xenophobia can be given leeway if it's fictional and doesn't enter into revolting territory and SW has far worst kick the dog moments.
3: He had a reason for that IIRC and he is remorseful of it as you said.
4: You said it yourself that he had a reason.
5: Guys like Jabba the Hutt and Keeper Arguss are more disgusting when it comes to slavery.
6: Too indirect to make him too vile and simply watching an evil act doesn't automatically DQs someone - Magnificent Baddie is the name rather then Magnificent Nice Guy.
7: He's doing it to impose training on the gaurds rather then sadism sake.
8: Considering how massive the SW franchise is, I would be more forgiving towards crueler moments provided they aren't too consistent to their character, Doctor Doom and Lex Luthor also have their fair share of cruel moments yet their comics have been active for decades and aren't always written consistently for example.
9/10: He has a reason and SW has worst torturers.
"Now, I'm not saying that Vader's automatically too vile and he has a number of redeeming and sympathetic traits to his character, even redeeming himself. However, I'm not sure even that is enough to downplay a horrific rap sheet like this and Dutch van der Linde along with Dr. Brenner were deemed too vile to count despite their many redeeming qualities given just how horrific their crimes were. Plus, even after redeeming, Vader is still greatly despised in-universe similar to Dutch and Brenner with him not being forgiven despite his sacrifice."
This is using whataboutism, just because one thing happens for one candidate doesn't mean it happens to all candidates. The horror of Brenner's actions are always at the front of his character, the tragedy and coolness of Vader is always at the storefront of his character, see the difference?
"I'm also aware that Star Wars has a lot of Vile Villains but I'm not sure if even that is a 'get out of jail free' card for Vader as he's one of the few Villains who manages to help set the standards through his personal cruelty"
Just because you pass/set the heinous standard doesn't mean this rule can't apply. SW is a series full of horrible, unlikeable villains. Even if he sets the standards, he still has a strong focus of his tragedy and coolness compared to guys like Tarkin. I should also point out that the evil bar for MBs isn't the same thing as the heinous standard.
"he even serves as the Icon for the IH Wiki, showing just how vile he is"
No. Vader being the icon on a wiki about evil villains absolutely DOES NOT impact his qualifications for MB in anyway. read the final statement on the privous point I responded to again. There are several IH archtype MBs, and again we are called Baddie and not Nice Guy wiki for a reason. May I also point out that Vader is the icon because likely not because "he is super evil" but because he is an iconic example of an "inconsisent" villain?
"I could honestly see a stronger case for Vader being too vile than even Light Yagami."
I don't see what this is trying to say, there are already MBs far worst in rapsheet then Light and we already decided a while ago Light isn't too evil, just too smug and arrogant.
Eggman as a whole can't count for MB because Sonic is inconsistent with it's continuity, and some games give him undignified moments while others don't.
I already explained why Cortex doesn't count even with MoM.
And I am going to ask to you refrain from posting "wishlist" when you aren't whitelisted.
I don't think that is enough to make up for the fact that he still has a still of undignified moments throughout the series, I don't think him being a "mutant" matters, those cases only apply when the character in question has no other undignified moments before their "corrupted form". Cortex is still a butt-monkey and he still has undigifed moments during his mutant form like throwing a fit or losing his pants so he still has his butt-monkey treatment.
Doesn't he still throw a temper tantrum during his defeat? That combined with past humillations does feel that his butt-monkey treatment still remains,
I think the big issue is that unlike Mario or Sonic, the Crash series is far less inconsistent in continuity and Cortex goes trough many humiliations in is incompetent a lot.
Although the version from the Crash/Spyro GBA crossover games can count since they are unconnected to the main Crash games and is actually competent there.
No. We only give these types of leniency if their bigotry is heavily fictionalized with no real life connections like a robot hating humanity.
Genuine racist towards real life races or homophobes aren't allowed.
Vader might have a shot if his own arc ends well but we should wait for Vader since his arc is still ongoing.
For Starlight, I feel that is just jerk behaviour rather then legitimately villainous actions.
Wait for his arc to be finished plus too soon to discuss TV Invincible
Personally I like very evil MBs
I wouldn't object if some makes a personal sandbox detailing this but I don't think we need an actual wiki page.
1: That falls in line with him being too arrogant/petty then being too vile.
2: Yelling at people isn't too evil.
3: What he does to Noami is cruel but that was the only way he can get rid of her by covering her tracks. Light needs to get rid of the Yask Force too since they are capturing him. Taunting enemies isn't a DQ either.
If you are trying to say if someone can keep even if their FR becomes disgusting then probably not. There is a difference between an evil cartoon robot hating humans and a genocidal human who goes out of their way to make supernatural life suffer.
The proposals will be made when they are ready
He's a smug snake who engages in child torture so he doesn't count.
IIRC he's so petty that he let's the earth be destroyed because rival steals his girlfriend.
You are not whitelisted so you can't make proposals.
