Bear-O is a major antagonist in Netflix adult animated series Inside Job. He was a robotic bear created by Rand Ridley to hug his daughter, Reagan, as he didn't want to. When Reagan got older, Bear-O noticed that Reagan was unhappy thanks to her job and friends so he decided to destroy them to make her feel better.
What makes him Magnificent?[]
- He is a giant, talking, robot teddy bear which just reaks of awesome.
- He has a childlike innocence which makes him endearing as well as adding some great humor.
- He truly cares for Reagan as he is always trying to show her appreciation and his main goal is for her to be happy.
- He an extremist as while he wants to kill of Reagan's job and friends, it is due to how unhappy they make her.
- Managed to break into J.R.'s office and steal a extremely confidential file so he could leak it.
- When Gleen destroys the file, he moves on to trying to kill her friends and father by switching to battle mode.
- This is subtle but when his list of targets is shown, Brett isn't seen which implies he is fully aware that he is actually aware that he is a positive influence on Reagan's life.
- Managed to kidnapped N-SYNC by calling them and telling them that there is a new gig only to ambush and tie them up in order to fuel Reagan's childhood dream of being a Lego astronaut married to N-SYNC.
- This also doesn't make him an idiot since he is still a robot trying to follow his programming and this adds to his innocent charm.
- When the team gets ROBOUTUS to fight Bear-O, he manages to overpower him by dumping a pot of hot coffee onto the laptop controlling him.
- Ultimately comes very close to killing off Reagan's friends and is only stopped by Brett by inputting the passcode to turn him off just in time.
- He also manages to partially succeed in his goals since his actions lead Reagan to disowning her father after she discovers that he wiped the memories of her best friend.
What makes him a Baddie?[]
- Assisted Rand with Wiping Reagan's memories.
- Stole a confidential file that would have exposed Congito Inc to the world.
- Tried to Murder Reagan's friends with the exception of Brett.
- Kidnapped N-SYNC.
