Blackmore is a minor antagonist in the manga Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run. He is a hitman of the president Funny Valentine, who goes in his way to get to know the identity of the one who stole the message sent by Ringo Roadagin, while also wanting to defeat Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zepelli, all in order to help Funny Valentine's plans.
What Makes Him Magnificent?[]
- After the stealing of the pigeon and the message that was on it sent by Ringo, done by Lucy Steel, Blackmore doesn't loses his temperament, calmly studying the scene to understand what happened.
- As he investigates, he notices certain signs on the cage of pigeons, such as the existence of a second pigeon without message that have already arrived, and the wetness on them, as it was raining at that moment, while also noticing the footprints of the pigeons. With all of this, Blackmore deduces that the pigeon in fact should have been arrived already, and someone should have took it just moments they got there.
- When the pigeon gets freed by Lucy, Blackmore cleverly uses his stand to catches it without not sign of effort by the use of his own stand.
- Having in account on how Lucy escaped the scene, Blackmore deduces that the culprit doesn't have a stand ability, and is probably a person that was close to them.
- Noticing the traces of water that Lucy Steel left after escaping from the floor, Blackmore makes a plan to get the men of Funny Valentine to follow those traces and go to that room from the door, as he uses his stand Catch the Rainbow, to surprise the culprit from the window, not letting any way of escape, only failing thanks to the help of Mountain Tim surprising arriving.
- After this, Blackmore easily deduces that the culprit still doesn't have a stand, but that another person, who has a stand, helped them escape.
- Blackmore uses the fact that Lucy used the phone of that place, to finally track down the one who helped him.
- After meeting with Mountain Tim, Blackmore defeats him fairly easy, in all moment giving him a chance to live if he gives him the identity of the one who stole the message.
- He ends up deducing that the culprit is Lucy Steel, and going against her, stopping her before she gets to Johnny and Gyro.
- Although Blackmore for a moment thinks of stealing the corpse for himself, after getting shot, he sees this as a punishment for being greedy, deciding to remain loyal and do as he can to help.
- Although he ends up being shot by Lucy, this is only cause he got distracted by the apparition of Saint, and the change of scenary because of it.
- Blackmore nearly defeated both of the heroes without that much effort thanks to his stand.
- He ends up being defeated just because the rain was starting to stop, while also being for his fatal wounds from later.
What Makes Him a Baddie?[]
- Allied with Funny Valentine, so he can collect all the corpse parts and use those powers.
- Attacked the pigeon sent by Ringo, to stop it from flying away.
- Killed Mountain Tim.
- Stole the spine of the corpse part from Lucy.
- Attempted to kill Lucy, Johnny and Gyro by using Catch the Rainbow, the former being a young girl.
