Bowser (Super Mario Odyssey)

King Bowser Koopa Sr., simply referred to as Bowser, is the main antagonist of the 2017 Nintendo game Super Mario Odyssey.

He is the king of all of the Koopa race and the iconic archnemesis of Mario.

What Makes Him Magnificent?[]

Bowser has been planning a wedding to marry Princess Peach by hiring the Broodals to organize it and go on a successful crime spree, this gets Mario distracted for a while, as he now has to deal with the chaos Bowser left in his wake.
His fancy suit and feudal Japanese-themed castle are shown to have coolness as he is more cunning than usual.
His magnificent fighting style, especially when he handily defeated Mario in the beginning before the latter's rematch and the final battle.
Even when Mario catches up to Bowser, he is able to get him off his tail by shooting down his ship Odyssey.
While he ended up being defeated and being left on the moon, he still keeps Mario and Peach's relationship from going beyond mere friendship.
- Though his defeat can be slightly silly, it doesn't detract from his magnificence.
Although he was a bit sad after Princess Peach rejected her, this isn't played as too humiliating, and Bowser does recover a bit even after Mario used him as a platform for him to jump into the Odyssey.

Like in many other games, he kidnaps Princess Peach like he usually does, but this time tries to force Peach to marry him against her will much to her dislike.
He kidnapped many citizens and stole important items from various kingdoms for his wedding, forcing Mario to deal with the chaos left in their wake.
He tamed and summoned an Elder Scrolls-like dragon called the Ruined Dragon, so he could defeat Mario and burn him to death.
