Brown, also known as the Brown Crewmate is the main antagonist of the SMG4 episode, “If Mario Was AMONG US...”. He is a parasitic alien who takes on the guise of a Crewmate and attempts to kill the other Crewmates and Mario at Peach’s Castle.

He is voiced by James Bailey.

What Makes Him Magnificent?

• He gives off a very calm, collected, and chill attitude to the other Crewmates and Mario.
• He is given a great performance by James Bailey, who manages to make all his lines funny with sheer delivery alone.
• He manages to remain consistently funny even when he is revealed to be the Impostor.
• Killed Purple and managed to avoid suspicion by noting to the others how Blue hadn’t said anything, which got Blue voted off and killed.
• Sabotaged the electricity in Peach’s castle. During this he killed Yellow and managed to frame Red by covering him in tomato sauce which looked like blood and pretending to notice it after the body was reported, which got Red voted off and killed. He also positioned himself when the lights were off so he would be the farthest away from Yellow’s body.
• When Mario realized that the imposter was either Brown or Green, Brown defends himself by reminding Mario that Green was on top of the body and was also in the room with the open vent, all the while remaining calm.
• While he revealed that he knew Mario and Green were in the room with the open vent which ended up giving him away this is a minor slip-up that he quickly recovers from, as when Mario, who had a gun in his hand, questions him about how he knew their location, he immediately disarms the gun from Mario and takes it for himself, rather than trying to come up with an excuse.
• When Mario begins barricading the door, he uses the vent to get into the other room.
• Chased Mario into the open vent room and when he realized Mario was mirroring his movements, he pulled out his gun and started shooting at him rather than continue aimlessly chasing him with the knife.
• When Mario and Green get the drop on him and knock him down, he transforms into his Xenomorph form and knocked Green down for a few seconds and nearly succeeded in killing Mario, which shows that he can defend himself in a physical fight.

What Makes Him a Baddie?

• He killed Purple and Yellow and framed Blue and Red, respectively, for their murders which got them killed as well.
• He attempted to kill Mario and Green.
• In his pursuit of Mario and Green he also killed a guy who was wearing a green bodysuit, a green Teletubby, and a green Fall Guy.

Trivia

• He along with Whisk are the only SMG4/Glitch Productions characters to be MBs.
  • He and Detective Brown are also the only Among us characters to be brown.
  • Ironically, he is also the only Xenomorph to be MB since all of them are mindless monsters, while he is sapient.
