Bruno Bucciarati is the deuteragonist of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind. He wished to end the drug trade in Italy after his family got affected with the fallout, but eventually decided to overthrow his boss after his more heinous crimes come to light.
In Japanese dub, he's voiced by Yuichi Nakamura (who also voiced Satoru Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen), While in English dub, he is voiced by Ray Chase. Young Bruno is voiced by Shizuka Ishigami in Japanese dub and Jeannie Tirado in English dub. In JJBA VGs, He is formerly voiced by Takahiro Sakurai in the Golden Wind PS2 Game, and Noriyaki Sugiyama in All Star Battle, Eyes of Heaven, and Ultra Jump.
What Makes Him Magnificent?[]
- After his father was shot by drug-dealing gangsters, Bucciarati took care of him and killed the gangsters.
- Recruited Leone Abbacchio, Narancia Ghirga, Pannacotta Fugo, and Guido Mista after they fell into mishaps with the law, giving them refuge in Passione.
- Decided to overthrow his boss to stop the drug trade in Italy.
- Helped civilians coming to him having legitimate issues.
- Cleverly uses his strategic mind to defeat enemies wanting to kill the Gang and Trish.
- Fought Proscuitto by avoiding his Stand powers by using ice to slow the aging.
- Realized that Pesci was the more dangerous out of the two and tricked him into getting his guard down by killing Proscuitto.
- After Diavolo betrays him, personally rushed in to save Trish from him.
- Figured Diavolo's weakness and stopped him from pursuing the Gang.
- After Diavolo killed him, Bucciarati willed himself back to life temporarily using Giorno's Golden Experience.
- Defeated Secco by shattering his eardrums and tricking him.
- When he was tricked by Doppio/Diavolo into believing the latter was Trish, it was only because Bucciarati's hearing and perception had significantly declined; being in between life and death, he could only perceive souls and Doppio's soul looked like Trish's. This was not something he could control, and there was no way he could have known better in his state.
- He basically recovered from being tricked by tricking Diavolo into revealing the weakness of Chariot Requiem and exploited it to give the Arrow back to Giorno, sacrificing himself in the process.
What Makes Him a Baddie?[]
- As a high-ranking member of Passione, Bucciarati was accessory to several criminal activities ordered by Diavolo or other higher ranking mafia members.
- Tortured Giorno during their first encounter to gain information.
- Used an innocent student's arm as a decoy against Giorno.
- Was lethal against his enemies, though it was justified as they were all ruthless gang members and he killed them to protect his friends.
