Capper is a major protagonist in the 2017 animated movie, My Little Pony: The Movie and a cameo character in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. He is a cat who became a con artist after the Storm King made him penniless.
He was voiced by Taye Diggs.
What Makes Him Magnificent?[]
- He is by far the most magnificent character in the entire movie, as all the other villains have several flaws that stop them from qualifying, such as the Storm King and Grubber who are idiots, and Tempest Shadow who gets manipulated by both Capper and the Storm King.
- His first scene where he sees the Mane Six is very cool and shows he has plans for the Mane Six.
- He is able to trick the citizens that were trying to steal the Mane Six by telling them that they were infected with a disease.
- His song "I'm The Friend You Need" is a very good song and is considered one of the best songs in the movie, as he acts very kind towards the Mane Six and tricks them into trusting him while secretly developing his plan to sell the Mane Six without them noticing.
- He began to care for the Mane Six, to the point that he tried to stop them from seeing the circus owner and even helped them in telling them where the Hippogriffs were.
- Even when he was at Tempest's mercy, he is still able to manipulate her into thinking that the Mane Six were going in a different direction then where they were actually going.
- While he fails to fully trick Tempest, this wasn't his fault and more of Rainbow Dash's as she decided to make a Sonic Rainboom which made their location obvious to Tempest, and he does back up later on.
- He is able to convince the Mane Six into trying to save Twilight and to not give up alongside Celaeno, her crew and Princess Skystar.
- He tricks the Storm King's guards into letting them in by lying to them that the Storm King would be disappointed if he didn't have the cake they made because he "ordered" it.
- He uses Spike as a flamethrower to defeat the Storm King's army with the help of the Mane Six.
- It's heavily implied that he continued to trick people after the movie's events.
What Makes Him a Baddie?[]
- He was a con artist who tricked people so he could get what he wants.
- He attempted to sell the Mane Six to a circus owner to repay his debt to him, although he would regret it later on.
