Destroyers of Innocence are Magnificent Baddies who commit acts that permanently damage/corrupt a character (which could be the villain themself), a group of characters, and/or the setting of the story, thus destroying their innocence. This phenomenon tends to be a byproduct of a villain's competence in achieving their goal, but also greatly contributes to a villain's heinousness.
