I will not die a monster.
~ Doctor Octopus redeeming himself and his last words.
It seemed one of my alien lab rats would finally get his revenge. But instead, he saved my life. An alien. I imprisoned him, used him to create a race of monsters for war against his kind, and still he saved me. Try as I might, I could not erase the incident from my mind. If this alien, after everything, show mercy, how could I dare do this?
~ Bishop showing regret for his past actions.
Now I finally realized that faking one's name and letting others do everything for you is different than entrusting something to one's comrades. I'm not you. The current me is the one who wanted to become Hokage: Obito Uchiha!
~ Obito Uchiha redeeming himself by rejecting Madara's worldview.

Villains who reform and change their malicious ways. In spite of their evil-doings Magnificent Baddies can be redeemed, and if anything, their redemption often serves to make the villain more likeable. In fact, redeemed Magnificent Baddies can even ditch all their villainy and become Pure Good. However, this is rare as Pure Goods need to have no corrupting factors in order to qualify and they cannot become magnificent after redeeming themselves; they need to be magnificent and a baddie at the same time (examples of Pure Good and Magnificent Baddies crossing over include Oliver Grayson and Agent Bishop).
