This version of Slade Wilson, alias Deathstroke, is a mercenary who takes his role as one of the supporting protagonists in Injustice: Gods Among Us.
He was voiced by J.G. Hertzler.
What Makes Him Magnificent?[]
- He is calm, cool and collected executing his plans with efficiently and is pragmatic in his goals, as well as very charming in his skill.
- He was able to sneak into the regime's base and steal a mother box and had a backup plan to get it to Batman when he was captured.
- Can take on characters much more powerful than him by outsmarting their fighting styles.
- When being tortured by Raven and Cyborg, he refuses to confess any information and declines their offer of amnesty by rightfully calling out Superman's re-education "boot camps". Furthermore, despite being at their mercy, he still taunts them by calling them Superman's puppets and spits at them.
- Despite Prime Cyborg's animosity towards him, Slade never returns the hatred. He repeatedly attempts to diffuse the situation, calls out Prime Cyborg's anger as misplaced and states "Whatever history we have with our counterparts, you and I have none." Slade even compliments Prime Cyborg for hacking Injustice Cyborg and stealing the latter's password to the Watchtower's teleporter.
- He puts bombs down in the right spots to take out both Flash and Shazam who are both much more powerful than him.
- He smartly sabotages the League Watchtower to explode knowing how badly it will damage Superman's regime.
- He quickly and silently sneaks up on Wonder Woman and binds her wrists with her own lasso before Killer Frost can even turn-around.
What Makes Him a Baddie?[]
- He is a mercenary and assassin who has likely killed many people in the past and has admitted to trying to kill the titans several times in the past.
- He doesn't care that sabotaging the League Watchtower puts the Insurgencey's plan in jeopardy or if people end up being killed as a result, focusing only on sabotaging the Regime.
