What Makes Him Magnificent?[]
- Is a highly skilled intergalactic smuggler who is able to charm his way out of any situation and complete the task he is hired to. He would also con his clients to ensure at the end, he will have the last laugh and get away with it.
- When forced to crash land on Earth, he hid the Recreator he was tasked to deliver to the Quintessons on TItan, and use this to seduce Marissa Faireborn and charm the Earth Defense Force away from arresting him by offering to locate them the Quintesson base at Titan.
- In truth he was tricking the Protectobots into being handed over to the Quintessons, using that to convince the Quintessons to increase their pay to him.
- Even as the Quintessons backstab him, Dirk would also ensure the Recreator is useless to them having anticipated this.
- Helps the Technobots and Marissa to drive off the Quintessons, and then pretend to betray them just to fool the Quintessons as he uses the Recreator to instead repair the Technobots, allowing them to form Computron and drive them and their Terrorcon minions out of Titan.
- At the end, manages to get away with his crimes of smuggling, and while Marissa ends up tricking him into stealing mimic dust instead, Dirk actually takes this in stride and laughs in respect for how Marissa was able to outplay him.
What Makes Him a Baddie?[]
- He is an unrepentant smuggler who will deliver weapons to any client, no matter how shady they are such as the Quintessons, as long as he got the money he desires.
- When Marissa overhears his conversation with the Quintessons, he holds her captive in his ship.
