Doodle Patrick is the secondary antagonist of Around The Clock at Bikini Bottom, based on his original adaptation in Drawn to Life: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition. He is the best friend of DoodleBob and alongside him one of the two supreme leaders of the Doodles. Having been summoned to Bikini Bottom against his own wish, he nevertheless desires to "make room" for the "repopulation" of his own kind starting with the respective town by any necessary means.
What Makes Him Magnificent?[]
- In utter contrast to his normally dimwitted counterpart, he is intuitive and sophisticated in his mannerism.
- Although his expansive vocabulary topping his long winded speech habit could come across as condescending, it nevertheless indicates his cleverness.
- Upon introduction, he was quick to think of ways to proceed in his plans despite the massive inconvenience he admits that being summoned to Bikini Bottom posed for them.
- In SpongeBob's Pineapple, he not only shifts his location on the ceiling unexpectedly, but also intentionally blocks off essential routes attempting to box him in and make it easier for DoodleBob in his attempts to likewise kill him.
- It's worthy to note this is also made clear to not rely on gameplay, as his 'Game Over' screens mention that he is a tricky devil doodle, and such tactics are in no way unfitting for his character.
- Even in his most hostile moments, he is also never shown to be needlessly hateful let alone tasteless in his remarks or behaviors.
- He was quick to first realize that Jellien sludge makes doodles immune to the eraser, which he also uses later to armor up himself for his battle with Patrick.
- He has genuinely comedic moments, such as him making a "drawn out of proportion" double-pun after crushing Fake Dennis, thumping Patrick with the pencil when his long rant bores him to sleep, as well as his somewhat comical defeat.
- Although he did gaslight DoodleBob into likewise believing that the heroes were indirectly responsible for their misery and erases him when he defends Patrick, he proves that at the end of the day he does genuinely care about him.
- He shows the sense of fairness to invite Patrick for an honorable, as well as thrilling, round of sport instead of just killing him despite having had the opportunity.
- On such note, he remains dignified even when Patrick sets him on fire to defeat him, stating "Fair enough" to the letter's clarity that it wasn't premeditated after inquiring with him instead of having a breakdown.
What Makes Him a Baddie?[]
- Brutally kills a Pinky Jellien to protect DoodleBob. Although the Jelliens are a hostile species, he proves his staunch cruelty in doing so, especially given how little a threat it posed to them. As for filling up the jar he obtained to collect more sludge, it can be quite safely assumed he and DoodleBob also massacred the clones in Larry's gym.
- Exploiting the Jellien reinvasion to prepare for his own species' "repopulation" meaning to tyrannize the entire seabed, also heavily implying attempted genocide.
