Elmer J. Fudd is the main villain protagonist of the 1955 Merrie Melodies, Hare Brush. This version of Elmer is a millionaire who thinks he is a rabbit. It is later revealed that Elmer was faking it to pretend to be insane so he could avoid going to prison for tax fraud.
He was voiced by Arthur Q. Bryan.
What makes Magnificent?[]
- As usual with Elmer Fudd, he is pretty hilarious with him pretending to deluding himself into thinking he is a rabbit.
- Plots a scheme to avoid going to prison by pretending to be an insane man who thinks he is a rabbit. This allows him to be sent to a mental institution instead of prison,
- When he sees Bugs, he bribes him with a carrot in order switch places with him. Thus, he ends up escaping from the Institute.
- Tricks Bugs into entering a cave where he gets attacked by a bear.
- When Bugs gets arrested by the IRS due to him assuming Elmer's identity, Elmer hops away, ending up as a successful Karma Houdini.
