Embo is an antagonist and occasional anti-hero in the Star Wars universe, appearing in the TV series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He is a bounty hunter.
He was voiced by Dave Filoni.
What Makes Him Magnificent?[]
- During the Clone Wars, he was one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy, second only to Cad Bane.
- His fights with Savage Opress and Anakin Skywalker back this statement up.
- Even by the time of the New Republic, despite being old, Embo was still very formidable as he manage to pin Bazine Netal.
- He is a proficient fighter in both armed and unarmed combat:
- He skillfully uses his rimmed hat as a shield and throwing weapon.
- He has excellent aim, being able to take out opponents from great distances with his bowcaster and hat, making him a competent sniper as well.
- Even without his bowcaster, he still proves a match for his enemies through martial arts and agility.
- He frequently displays impressive acrobatics, and can jump higher and run faster than any human.
- Along with the rest of Sugi's team, he drives off Hondo Ohnaka and his pirates from a farming village, even joining forces with the Jedi for the task. During battle, he efficiently takes control of a speeder bike and defeats a number of pirates by himself.
- Alongside several other bounty hunters, he defends the Grand Hutt Council against Darth Maul, Savage Opress and the Death Watch when they attempt to force the Hutts into their criminal alliance. He also holds his own while fighting Savage in hand-to-hand combat.
- He stages convincing assassination attempts on Rush Clovis to drive him away from Scipio.
- He demonstrates exceptional technique when pursuing Anakin Skywalker, Padmé Amidala and Clovis, riding his hat as a snowboard as he chases and fires at them.
- Despite Embo relied little on technology, he is pretty smart with technology, as when he snuck onboard the Millennium Falcon, Embo manage to sabotage the ship from taking off. Although he was defeated when Lando stalled long enough for one of the Falcon's pipes to burst behind Embo, which Embo logically couldn't predict.
- Along with Boba Fett's crew, he assists Asajj Ventress in rescuing Quinlan Vos and survives a fight with Count Dooku in the mission.
- He only takes part in capturing Jas Emari for Mercurial Swift to clear his debts and feels remorse for accepting the bounty as Jas always treated his pet kindly, later teaming up with her and turning against Swift.
What Makes Him a Baddie?[]
- He is a ruthless bounty hunter who has killed innocent people, including Padmé's aide, as a means for profit.
- He participates in Dooku's plot to kidnap Chancellor Palpatine.
- He also killed a fellow contestant in a tournament to pick out the bounty hunters for the kidnapping.
- On Darth Sidious' orders, he attacks Anakin, Padmé and Clovis as part of Sidious' plans for the Intergalactic Banking Clan.
- He tries to collect a bounty on Lando Calrissian.
