Evil Dr. Porkchop is a major antagonist in the video game Toy Story 3, a game based off of the 2010 film with the same name. He is an iniquitous criminal mastermind played by Andy Davis' piggy bank Hamm wearing an eyepatch who seeks to steal money to get rich while trying to get rid of those in his path, like Sheriff Woody for instance. Later on, he also seems to be motivated by power given how he ends up teaming up with the Witch to force-feed a poisonous wedding cake to put everyone in the world under mind control. He is Sheriff Woody's arch-nemesis.
Just like Hamm himself, he was voiced by Pixar's good luck charm John Ratzenberger.
What Makes Him Magnificent?[]
- Being the evil genius that he is, he is shown to be smart enough to know how to create useful technology that could benefit him in his scheme as displayed with the giant airship he made along with the drones, ray guns robotic muffins, etc..
- He manages to successfully lure Woody in by endangering a runaway train with orphans before proceeding to fight him.
- He puts up a good fight with the player whenever he encounters them, managing to keep them on their toes while using smart methods to try to defeat/kill them like
- having his drones shoot at the player in the first battle while also creating obstacles by causing avalanches and then continuing the fight on the train
- having the drones destroy parts of the train while trying to kill Woody and then has green alien minions shoot rayballs at them while trying to kill him with a ray gun
- him separating the parts of the train behind Woody from the part of the train he was on to get a better advantage to kill him while continuously blasting at him with a ray gun
- him having drones try to kill Woody while he robs a town's bank
- him launching robotic muffins to fight against the player while the witch he allied with tries to carry out their plot, growing bigger and bigger into a giant with laser eyes as the fight goes on
- In Toybox Mode, he plays Woody/Buzz/Jessie and practically everyone in the town like a fiddle by disguising himself as their mayor before assigning Woody to complete tasks for the townsfolk in order to get gold/money under the guise of for the sake of the townsfolk and once all the tasks have been complete, he reveals that he's played them for fools by summoning his airship before proceeding to steal the bank's money with it.
- While his plan ends up being foiled by Woody/Buzz/Jessie launching enough explosive barrels to his airship to wreck it, it isn't a total failure as he still managed to steal at least some of the bank's money and was able to escape and evade arrest.
What Makes Him A Baddie?[]
- He endangered a runaway train with orphans on it in order to lure Woody to him so that he could kill him with his drones.
- He attempts to rob an entire bank in a town after tricking everyone into thinking he was the mayor and also has some drones try to kill Woody and while he doesn't succeed in stealing all of the money, he still manages to steal some of it.
- He partners up with the witch in a scheme to force-feed a poisonous wedding cake and put the entire world under mind control to comply to their orders.
- He sends out robotic muffins to kill the player to prevent them from interfering in their plot.
Trivia[]
- He is the only Pixar character from their video games to be a Magnificent Baddie.
- Likewise, he is the only Toy Story character from the video games to be one as well.
- Only the video game version of Evil Dr. Porkchop qualifies as a Magnificent Baddie as the movie version lacks the feats necessary to qualify as such.
