Evolt is the main antagonist of Kamen Rider Build, as well as the deuteragonist of the post-series film New World: Kamen Rider Cross-Z. He is a member of the evil extraterrestrial clan known as the Blood Tribe who is responsible for devouring numerous worlds to increase his own power. In response to the destructive ambitions of his older brother and the king of the Blood Tribe, Killbus, Evolt temporarily teams up with Team Build to stop him.
He was voiced by Tetsuo Kanao.
What Makes Him Magnificent?[]
- While he was sadistic, wrathful and prideful in the series, after his return in the V-Cinema he discards or mitigates these traits while keeping his charisma, jovialness and cunning.
- Taking the stageshow into account, Evolt had not one but two backup plans to revive himself if he was ever destroyed, including the one shown in the movie where he attached a piece of himself to Ryuga prior to his destruction.
- While it was only out of self-preservation, he was willing to ally with Ryuga and the others in order to stop Killbus from destroying the universe, and acted friendly to Ryuga even though Ryuga still detested him.
- Nonchalantly told Ryuga he killed his parents in order to make him angry and increase his Hazard Level.
- When killed by Killbus, Evolt used his final moments to toss his Fullbottles over to Ryuga so he'd have a shot at stopping Killbus.
- After being brought back, he aided Ryuga, Kazumi and Gentoku in the final battle against Killbus.
- To make Ryuga strong enough to transform with Muscle Galaxy, Evol faked a defection to Killbus's side and choked Yui in order to make Ryuga angry and cause his Hazard Level to increase.
- Merged with Ryuga as he was using Muscle Galaxy to become Cross-Z Evol and, together with him, destroyed Killbus and saved the entire universe.
- After Killbus is killed, he bids farewell to Ryuga and the others and leaves the planet peacefully.
- He got away with everything he did in both in the Old and New World.
What Makes Him a Baddie?[]
- Even though he isn't as bad as he was in the series anymore, he still shows no regret for the countless crimes he did in the Old World.
- The only reason he's opposed to Killbus is out of pure pragmatism and self-preservation.
- He was willing to psychology manipulate Ryuga, including admitting to him he killed his parents and faking a defection, in order to raise his Hazard Level.
- He also physically choked Yui to make Ryuga angry and never expressed any remorse for it or what he did above, instead telling Ryuga he should thank him.
