GRP-002-A is an Omega-Black/Utility GRP and one of the overarching protagonists of the RPC Authority mythos' alternate canon Cosmic Embers. He is a nigh-omniscient god-like entity who was created with the Big Bang and existed only for a fraction of a second, but was able to predict everything that would happen in the universe in that short amount of time.

What Makes Him Magnificent?[]

  • In the very short time he was alive, he didn't only manage to predict everything that would happen in the universe till its end, but was also able to formulate a plan to achieve "rebirth" (which likely either means his own rebirth or the universe's, or both).
  • He spawned various orbs (later collectively classified as "GRP-002" by the GRPC) across the universe, using them to bring people (or, at least, copies of them) to the moment he was alive to grant them wishes to further reach his goals.
  • He manipulated events so that one of his orbs would be found by Ranger Asker and later moved to a new location.
  • He saved Ranger Fleeb and his colleagues from some space pirates, while also ensuring that Fleeb would give the orb to the GRPC.
  • He teleported a bomb placed by some Nihil cultists on the latter's spaceship, killing them. This not only saved the lives of multiple people (among which GD-BONDS), but also prevented the fall of the GRPC and the beginning of a new age of chaos.
  • He overall shows to have a genuinely affable personality. Some notable examples of this are when he warns Ranger Asker about the fate he's going to meet out of politeness and saying he genuinely enjoyed his conversation with Researcher Baker, while also telling the latter to take a break after he gets shocked by the things GRP-002-A told him.

What Makes Him A Baddie?[]

  • While not having directly killed Ranger Asker, he ultimately is responsible for his death since he manipulated events to ensure the former would attempt to destroy one of his orbs with a firearm, causing a Helium-3 detonation that blasts some rocks on his face, killing him.
  • He occasionally causes stress in those that interact with him (although this is likely done accidentally).
  • As he himself states, he only has his best interest in mind, showing that ultimately he's selfish and doesn't care too much about other living beings.
