Jin Kuwana, real name Yu Kitakata, is the main antagonist of the Yakuza's spin-off Lost Judgement. He is a former teacher at Kurokawa Academy until one of his students tried to commit suicide due to bullying, which caused Kuwana to be fired. Feeling remorseful about his student's death and disgusted by bullies who would escape consequences he decided to punish them in his own way.
What makes him Magnificent ?[]
- While as a teacher, he did not paid much attention to bullies, thinking is was typical teenagers behavior, once his student Mitsuru Kusumoto tried to commit suicide and finished in the coma, he understood that he was wrong of ignoring it and decided to change to makes amends.
- He had a recording of his students bullying Mitsuru, but he waited for them to be adults to blackmail them with it, knowing they would have much more to lose as adults and would be easier to blackmail.
- He made his students kidnapp Shinya Kawai (Mitsuru's main bully) which in return made them leaves fingerprints on his body, giving Kuwana another asset to blackmail them.
- He would always ask to the parents of bullying victims if they wanted revenge against the bully and would only carry his plan if the parents agree with him. In case the parents accept, Kuwana would let them do the deed.
- Due to his remorse for doing nothing to stop Mitsuru's suicide, he would do anything to prevent Reiko to be punished for her crime and would protect her. He didn't even changed his mind after Reiko betrayed him (but only to protect her son) knowing she had a good reason.
- He made a plan with Akihiro Ehara (whose son commited suicide due to bullying) for him to avenge his son by killing his bully while Kuwana would take his identity and pretended to commit sexual battery (with the help of Kuwana's students) to give Ehara an solid alibi and having him only convicted for this crime and not for murder.
- He managed to inflitrate Yagami's group by saving him from the Liumang (whom he himself engaged).
- Despite having Yagami's group and the RK after him, he would always manage to escape them, being for his physical skills of by having backup plans. One of them being putting a bomb on a boat where he met Yagami and using it when the RK came after him to escape.
- His last plan was to tell Yagami and the others when was Shinya's corpse so that Soma and the RK would search it and that Yagami could stop them. He also had a backup plan which consisted to blow up everything if Yagami failed to stop Soma.
- At the end, due to Yagami having no evidence against him, he is able to walk free and to be Karma Houdini.
- His victims are hard to mourn considering all the wrong they did. And while somes victims could have shown remorse, it's off-screen. As for his two victims on-screen:
- Shinya Kawai is shown to have remorse after Mitsuru attempted suicide, few years later he completly forgot it, which is showed when he didn't recognize Reiko 5 years after Mitsuru's suicide, and continued his life as nothing happened. Futhermore his remorse may have been false from the beginning.
- Hiro Mikoshiba, 4 years after Toshiro's suicide, became a student teacher, but he was known to give hard punishement for his students if one failed his expectations such as Mami Koda(one of the student), which also caused her to be the target of bullying because of her bad result.
- Even his blacklmail victim were hard to feel sympathy for bullying Mitsturu and put all the blame to Shinya which in return was the only one to be punished and fired from school.
What makes him a Baddie[]
- He engages the Liumang to beat Yagami so that he would not follow his investigation.
- He has the students he blackmailed beat Tsukumo and destroying his office.
- Has his student trying to beat Yagami by telling them he would finish him off.
- Though that could be a lie considering he latter negociate Yagami's life for the location of Shinya's body.
- While his student Yui Mamiya was not innocent, her son was, and Kuwana's blackmail could affect his life as well.

- He is the only Magnificent Baddie from the Judgement duology.
