Jordi Chin is a major protagonist the video game series; Watch Dogs, serving as a supporting protagonist turned final antagonist in the first game, the tritagonist-turned-final antagonist of the Watch Dogs 2 DLC, Human Condicions, and a major protagonist of the Watch Dogs Legion DLC, Bloodline. He is a mercenary hired by Aiden Pearce to help him kill the people responsible for the death of the latter's niece.
He is voiced by Aaron Douglas.
What Makes Him Magnificent?[]
- He's the funniest character in the franchise, making several jokes through the first game while also proving his own sense of sadism without it being portrayed as ridiculous and still being taken seriously in-universe.
- He always respects his clients, to the point that he kept Maurice alive for several weeks because Aiden asked him to, and even gave Aiden a chance of killing Maurice himself even after Jordi betrayed him.
- He killed several Black Viceroy gangsters and made it look like it was a shootout so he could trick the police that he didn't kidnap Maurice.
- He joked about how ridiculous the system of protection of rich people is by saying that they think that they are so safe that they don't even lock their doors.
- He helps Aiden in getting and escaping from a prison by manipulating a guy that owes him give a cellphone to Aiden.
- He gave Aiden explosives to help him in his mission to kill Iraq and the Black Viceroys while driving a ice cream truck.
- He tries to convince Aiden to leave Chicago due to the high price on his head, and even after he betrayed Aiden, Jordi still hoped he would choose to leave Chicago despite knowing he would refuse.
- He helps Marcus kill Bratva members and hunt down Anton Bagdonov.
- He refused to kill a group of innocent people who knew he was a mercenary due to him not liking killing innocents
- He kills many of Anton's men by himself and then beats up Anton in a cool fight scene and then shoots a camera after noticing Marcus was spying on him.
- He spares Marcus because he was in a good mood and told him not to go after him so he wouldn't have to kill him.
- He helps Aiden, Wrench and Jackson in defeating Thomas Rempart and stopping him from turning humanity into machines.
- He has a funny goodbye scene with Aiden after they defeat Rempart and Aiden tells him that he will stop working as the Vigilante and spend more time with Jackson.
What Makes Him a Baddie?[]
- As a mercenary, Jordi has killed several people who he was hired to kill, such as multiple Black Viceroys' gangsters and Anton's men so he could get money.
- Even if he tried to warn him, Jordi still betrayed Aiden so he could get money from killing him.
- He tried to incriminate Marcus over Anton's murder so he could get him out of his way.
- He threatened to kill Wrench when he thought he kidnapped Aiden.
Trivia[]
- So far, he's the only Watch Dogs villain to qualify as a Magnificent Baddie.
