Kuroto Dan is a major antagonist in Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, as well as being the main antagonist of the "Another Ending" movie trilogy.
He was the second CEO of Genm Corp who at different points fought against and allied with the Doctor Riders. After helping them to defeat Parado and Masamune Dan, Kuroto betrays them and creates a new game called "Zombie Chronicle" as a means to revive all those lost to Game Disease.
He is portrayed by Tetsuya Iwanaga.
What Makes Him Magnificent?[]
- While he's far too petty and egotistical in the series itself to be magnificent, by the time of the "Another Ending" movies he's cast aside his most egregious personality flaws and become intent on reviving everyone lost to Game Disease, including his past victims and his mother.
- Creates a game for Emu and Parado to play in order to distract them while he escapes the Bugvisor II.
- Revives the Lovelica Bugster to provoke Taiga Hanaya into using his Kamen Rider Chronicle Gashat, allowing Kuroto to steal it from him.
- Allies with Saiko Yaotome and has her revive Masamune Dan from the Kamen Rider Chronicle Gashat so he can extract Black Parado from him.
- Has Saiko trick Emu into playing games with Black Parado to level him up. Once Black Parado is leveled up enough, he waits for Poppy and Parado to defeat him before betraying Saiko and absorbing Black Parado's data into himself.
- Uses Black Parado's data to create the God Maximum Mighty Level 1,000,000,000 Gashat, which he proceeds to use to commence "Zombie Chronicle", a game in which players have to fight Zombie Gamer clones, and for every Zombie Gamer clone defeated a person lost to Game Disease will be revived.
- Defeated only Kiriya Kujo exchanging a mutual attack with him that temporarily kills him too. Despite this, Kuroto is able to survive and resurfaces again in the Kamen Rider Ex-Aid novel, as well as the Kamen Rider Genms miniseries.
- In the sequel, Outsiders, he has been come to life as a Humagear.
What Makes Him a Bastard?[]
- Betrayed the Doctor Riders after convincing them he was their ally.
- He enabled Lovelica's attack on Hiiro and Taiga, as well as him reviving Saki to mess with Hiiro.
- Convinced Saiko to help him under the pretense their research could be used to revive her father, only to betray her.
- Many civilians were caught in the crossfire of his Zombie Chronicle game, which was an overly-complicated way of reviving those lost to Game Disease.
- Forced Kiriya to sacrifice himself to defeat him, although he also gave Kiriya a way to revive.
