Doctor Lawrence Gordon is the main protagonist of the 2004 horror-thriller franchise Saw.
He is a doctor who was tested due to being responsible for diagnosing John Kramer's cancer. After escaping the Bathroom trap by cutting off his foot with a hacksaw, John Kramer hires him as an accomplice to help him with the traps by performing surgeries for their victims.
He is potrayed by Cary Elwes.
What Makes Him Magnificent?[]
- He had tragic backstory of getting put in the bathroom trap by John Kramer and had to cut off his foot to get out of it and failed his promises to bring someone back for his friend Adam Stanheight.
- After becoming an accomplice, he is seen to have intelligence since he performs medical surgeries for his victims.
- He stitched Michael Marks' eye for him to cut it off.
- He stitched Art Blanks' mouth and Trevor's eyes.
- He prevented other accomplices from finding out about his identity secrets.
- His story ends with him managing to kidnap Mark Hoffman and leave him to die from starvation/dehydration for murdering Jill Tuck.
- He also succeeds in getting away with his crimes by the end of his arc as the civilians and police never knew about his secrets.
What Makes Him a Baddie?[]
- He is still an accomplice who is affiliated with the Jigsaw killings and has torture methods that sound bad enough on paper.
