What makes him Magnificent?[]
- Is incredibly charismatic and able to deceive people.
- Has broken out of prison many times in really clever ways.
- Has many comedic moments from many sources, like his own bodily functions, charisma, and driving people crazy, throughout the series, but doesn't become annoying, making a likable character in several ways from this.
- Was the only fairy to break into Koboi Labs alive.
- Has apparently been declared dead 13 times to throw police officers off his trail, using very unique strategies to do so, while 2 of these are on screen (1 described and 1 shown) there are death certificates on the wall in The Sozzled Parrot, showing proof for this.
- Turned to crime but steals things from peoples houses in spectacular ways.
- Helped Artemis rescue Jay-Jay from his younger self in a really spectacular way.
- Faked his own death during the Fowl Manor Siege so he could steal gold from the ransom fund.
- He used that gold to buy a Penthouse apartment in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles and set himself up as a millionaire named Lance Digger.
- Decided to steal Academy Awards from celebrities around the US and one from Italy as a hobby and got a nickname as The Grouch, giving him a secret identity to make him look even more interesting
- Told the German Shepherds there was a bone in their handlers shirt so he could escape, proving he could think on his feet.
- Told Artemis there were plasma snakes in the plasma conduit at Opal Koboi's Lab just to annoy him.
- Likes driving people crazy, i.e annoying them, which is incredibly comedic to hear happening, as seen with Loafer's McGuire on the way to to Ireland.
- Tricked Pex and Chips into burying him alive by insulting them and making it sound comedic.
- Put on a gangster act really well on the way to the Spiro Needle.
- Escaped a sub-shuttle a few kilometers underwater in a great way to save his friends.
- Stole a diamond ring [going against what Artemis said] from Opal's jewelry and all her chocolate truffles to tick off Opal and trick her into blowing up her own ship, although Artemis told him to, he still did a great job.
- Worked with Holly as a PI to help her after he was set free, giving her information on criminals, and later joined with Do Dah Day later in the book.
- Played the role of a "chocolate fairy" to entertain Bo Paradizo showing another example on how he can think on his feet.
- Saved Butler and Juliet from being mindwiped by flipping the dwarf's gyroship.
- Managed to make his way out of the Amorphobot by confusing it's system with his gas bubbles.
- Begged Turnball Root to give him a description to make him sound cooler.
- Rode a troll just like his ancestors, sounding very cool, to save Holly, Artemis, and Butler from the Berserkers.
What makes him a Baddie?[]
- He turned to crime at a young age, breaking and entering people's houses to steal and sell their possessions.
