Oliver Grayson is a major character in the Image Comics Series, Invincible. He is an alien that is born on the planet Thraxa and he lives on Earth to become a superhero like his brother, Mark Grayson.

While becoming a superhero, Oliver Grayson initially lacked a desire to care about life and only focused on choosing logical solutions of wanting to kill his foes. In the past, he had killed the Mauler Twins for attempting to launch a nuclear missile on Earth and had attempted to wipe out the entire Human race to kill the Viltrumites.

Later on, Oliver Grayson learned from his mistakes with being too impulsive and took steps to become a better person.

What Makes Him Magnificent?[]

  • He is able to learn quickly due to his Thraxan DNA.
  • Finishes his homework assignments that had been assigned to him by April Howsam.
  • Trained with Mark Grayson to improve his flying abilities and to become a better superhero.
  • Despite brutally killing the Mauler Twins, he brings up understandable arguments as why criminals should die despite Mark Grayson's disagreements.
  • Ordered Invincible to kill Angstrom Levy rather than scold the latter for his actions.
  • Attempts to help Invincible fight Conquest twice.
  • Spends quality time with Nolan Grayson to bond with each other while Mark Grayson heals from his injuries.
  • Teams up with Allen to release the Scourge Virus on Earth with the belief of exterminating the Viltrumites to benefit the universe.
  • Felt remorse for accidentally shooting Invincible with the Scourge Virus and promises to improve his behavior for Invincible in the future.
  • Calms down Invincible during the latter's arguments with Haluma.
  • Acts as a mole for Thragg under Allen's orders.
  • Abandons his mission of acting as a mole for Thragg to protect Mark Grayson and his family from Thragg and the latter's children.

What Makes Him a Baddie?[]

  • Mercilessly murdered the surviving Mauler Twin despite the Mauler begging for his life.
  • Worked with Allen to beat up and knock out Omni-Man, so they can release the Scourge Virus into Earth to eliminate the Viltrumites while at the same time, potentially drive Humanity to extinction.
  • Accidentally shot Mark Grayson with the Scourge Virus which causes Mark Grayson to require serious medical treatment to survive his life threatening disease.
