Hey I got the heroes off your back, how about a little gratitude? Say a phase oscillator perhaps?
~ Owlman fighting Batman.

Owlman is a major antagonist from the 2008 DC cartoon, Batman: The Brave and the Bold. He is an evil version of Batman from an alternative universe who was the leader of the Injustice Syndicate, the evil version of the Justice League. After getting caught by Batman, he goes on a crime spree while disguised as Batman.

Just like his main counterpart, he was voiced by Diedrich Bader, who also voiced Warp Darkmatter from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.

What makes him Magnificent?[]

  • Unlike most versions of Owlman, this version lacks his usual straw nihilist tendencies.
  • He, along with his other Injustice Syndicate members, managed to defeat all the heroes on his earth except for Red Hood.
  • Managed to escape from Batman's cell which he designed to be hard to escape from.
  • Managed to commit crimes and rob banks when he escaped, turning not only the public against Batman, but also his fellow superheroes.
    • This got to the point where Batman had to team up with The Joker of all people to stop him.
  • Manages to steal the batmobile.
  • Hacks into the batcomputer and uses the info there to defeat the other heroes and keeps them restrained with death traps.
  • When in a car chase with Batman and the Joker, he manages to evade and slow them down by putting people in danger so they would have rescue them, thus giving him time to escape.
  • Managed to get a group of supervillains to side with him.
  • Manages to sway Joker to his side with the thought of putting Batman in a trap.
  • Despite his silly defeat of getting covered in glue, it isn't detracting as the show is already silly and lighthearted and he ends up recovering and saying he will be back to get revenge on Batman.
  • While he uses death traps on the heroes, it isn't too vile since it is downplayed by the standards of the show and is pretty standard stuff for the show.

What Makes Him a Baddie?[]

  • Threw Red Hood into a vat of acid.
  • Defeated all of the heroes in his world.
  • Tried to fight Batman in the Batcave.
  • Went on a crime spree disguised as Batmam.
  • Robbed a bank.
  • Stole the Batmobile.
  • Hacked into the Batcomputer and used the info in there to take down the heroes and placed them in death traps.
  • Tried to conquer Batman's universe.
  • Tried to kill Batman with a death trap.
  • Conviced Joker to betray Batman.
