~ Kuby to Huell Babineaux when he sleeps on Walter White's drug money |
Patrick Kuby is a supporting character in the crime drama series Breaking Bad, serving as one of the two henchmen (alongside Huell Babineaux) of the criminal attorney Saul Goodman.
He was played by Bill Burr.
What Makes Him Magnificent?[]
- He is consistently charming and affable.
- Due to his comedic banter (primarily with Huell), he is one of the most entertaining characters of the entire show.
- He tricks Bogdan into selling his car wash, thus giving Walter White the means to launder his money.
- He is instrumental in the train heist committed by Walt and Mike, due to distracting the driver. And even when a good Samaritan pushed the truck off the rails, he handled it extremely well. He had to let it happen, and he did, as trying to stop the truck from being pushed would have raised suspicion.
- He is a consummate professional, as he advised Huell from skimming off from Walt's stash to avoid them being targeted.
- He is heavily implied to be a Karma Houdini by the end of the show with Word of God even confirming it.
What Makes Him a Baddie?[]
- He is an important part of a major drug dealing organization, helping Walt and his associates to swindle Bogdan out of his car wash all so that Walt can use it to launder money and also in the train robbery for methylamine.
- Along with Huell, he intimidates Ted Beneke into paying his debts to the IRS to prevent them from investigating Skyler's finances and plans to hold him hostage in his house until the check clears. This leads to Ted breaking his neck in a failed escape attempt.
- He was involved in organized crime in Boston before moving to Albuquerque.
