Drop the"I'm gonna kill him" crap already. That phrase doesn't exist in our world. Because when I or my other team members so much as think those words, our target is already dead, and the job is over!
~ Prosciutto talking to Pesci.
I called you a failure of a capo, but I take that back now. I apologize for my rudeness. You are able to make decisions impartially. You're even able to risk your own life. The boss made the right decision, leaving Trish in your hands.
~ Prosciutto, showing respect to Bucciarati

Prosciutto is a minor antagonist in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind. He is an assassin who works for Passione and a member of La Squadra Esecuzioni.

He is voiced by Tatsuhisa Suzuki in Japanese and by Bill Millsap in English.

What Makes Him Magnificent?[]

  • He's calm and professional in his jobs, never indulging in empty threats.
  • He uses his Stand, the Grateful Dead, a stand who causes rapid aging to the people with a high body temperature, incapacitating Abbacchio, Narancia, Fugo and Giorno.
  • He disguises himself as old man, tricking Mista and almost killing him, only not succeeding thanks to Sex Pistols, Mista's Stand, protecting him in a way that Prosciutto could not have expected.
  • While at first, he was cold and a little bit arrogant to Pesci, he still cares about him and inspires him to become more confident. As a result, Pesci transforms from a cowardly "momma's boy" into a deadly and determined fighter even more dangerous than Prosciutto himself.
  • He almost kills Bucciarati, who wins thanks to a very risky(but efficient) move, using his Stand to pull out Prosciutto and himself out of the train. After this move, Prosciutto shows respect to Bucciarati, seeing him worthy as a capo. He also praises Pesci, who saves him with his Stand.
  • Even on the verge of death and being under a train, he uses his Stand, helping Pesci in the battle, before finally dying.

What Makes Him a Baddie?[]

  • He's an assassin who works for a Mafia organization.
  • Along with his teammates, he wanted to take control of Diavolo's drug trade.
  • He attempted to kill Bucciarati's team and kidnap Trish Una, an innocent girl, who didn't want to have anything to do with her father.
  • His Stand caused the rapid aging of several people, children included. The way his Stand kills people is also an incredibly disturbing and painful form of torture-murder towards its victims.
