Renee Frodgers is a minor antagonist in Amphibia who first appared in Season 2 episode "A Caravan Named Desire" as a main antagonist. Though initially appeared as a theater director, but is actually the mastermind behind the bank robbery. In the end, she was eventually exposed by Hop Pop and got arrested for her crimes.
She is voiced by Susan Egan.
What makes her magnificent?[]
- She is very theatrically charismatic, and manipulative towards others, including her own troupe. Susan Egan's performance also supports it.
- She's a theater director, who uses her artistic talents to make her plays attract everyone in different towns, including the bank guards, as a distraction in order to rob banks.
- In fact, unlike Tritonio, who's motivated by greed, Renee robs to make living since her troupe is barely low on money.
- She successfully saved Anne Boonchuy and Plantars from a giant worm, before trying to have them join her troupe. While Anne, unlike Plantars, rejected that offer, she didn't kick her out.
- When Hop Pop found her true intentions, she simply told him to think about what's best for him, rather than what is right, instead of intimidating him or disposing of him.
- When she got exposed, her acrobatic abilites and agility is very amazing that she can jump on top of her caravan to get to her driver's seat and make her escape. While fighting Hop Pop, she was able to let go of her to prevent him from stopping her.
- Despite her comedic defeat, she's still remained charismatic and magnificent.
What makes her baddie?[]
- Traveling around different towns in Amphibia and distract everyone by performing her plays to rob the bank.
- Leaving her men and the troupe members including Hop Pop just to make her escape and save her skin, showing that she doesn't value over them.
Trivia[]
- She's the only Amphibia Magnficent Baddie to be one-shot character and to never redeem herself.
