~ Right Hand Man's words to Henry before their battle in 'Revenged' |
The Right Hand Man is the secondary antagonist of the Henry Stickmin Collection.
He is the right-hand man to Reginald Copperbottom up until Infiltrating The Airship where he either becomes the leader of the clan depending on the route taken or he is imprisoned by the government, or he never encounters Henry and remains Reginald's right-hand man up until Completing The Mission. If he is killed in the Relentless Bounty Hunter and Rapidly Promoted Executive endings, he returns as a cyborg named Right Hand Man Reborn and either becomes the main rival to Henry Stickmin or he doesn't let his anger towards Henry get the better of him and accepts him as leader of the clan.
He was voiced by Marcus Brosmander in all appearances.
What Makes Him Magnificent[]
- He is extremely loyal to both Reginald and his fellow Toppats as he is willing to put his life on the line constantly to protect the clan, never argues against anything that Reginald does, and is willing to work with Henry and accept him as the leader if it will be for the better of the clan.
- To add to this, even if he is rewired to help Henry, his loyalty ultimately overcomes this code, showing that even mind control isn't enough to make him switch sides.
- He is very charismatic as he never shows any signs of fear even when he is about to die and treats the entire clan along with Reginald with respect when they aren't making things harder than it needs to be, and always puts the clan's needs before his own, which is shown when he wanted to get the ruby back off Henry due to it belonging to The Toppats before Reginald told him it's not worth it and even after Henry took over as leader of the clan, Right Hand Man still remained deeply loyal towards Reginald, proving that he does care for him as more than a partner in crime.
- While he does taunt Henry at times, these moments are never played to make him look like an overly smug snake and it's more because Henry tries very stupid options to try and stop him with rather than him just doing it out of pettiness and these moments are balanced out with him showing respect and honour towards Henry in some routes, so it doesn't override his magnificence.
- When Henry broke through the airship's windows and knocked out Thomas Chestershire and another Toppat, he bravely faced him alone and told Reginald to go so he can hold Henry off.
- During the thruster fail, he also realized Henry's ball is bulletproof, so he shot one of the thrusters on the ball, which caused Henry to smash into a wall uncontrollably and kill himself in the process.
- During the earthbound/final fantasy esque fight, he can get suplexed, slashed, or hit by a yoyo by Henry in a fail, and he just shrugged it off immediately and kills Henry straight after as only a chainsaw or the multi bottle rocket launcher could kill him.
- After Henry killed him in the Relentless Bounty Hunter and Rapidly Promoted Executive routes, he was reborn as a cyborg and adapted to his new abilities at an impressive speed with him showing efficiency in the Revenged battle where he temporarily overpowered Henry, who also had new cyborg abilities, and almost killed him.
- When Henry used his Y-Type Move on him, he simply stood there and accepted his death, showing his honor in battle.
- He has a cool fight scene with Henry in the Revenged route that is also filled with many great fails and some of the best action the series has ever had.
- Even though he is agitated towards Henry for killing him, he ultimately set that aside for the sake of the Toppats as shown when the two share the same goal in routes when Henry is the leader such as Toppat King.
- When he does capture Henry, it is only because Henry actively hurt the Toppats by getting members arrested and hurting or killing members of the clan such as Reginald, so this doesn't make him petty either way.
- In the Toppat King route, he and Henry came up with a clever plan to kill all the government officials surrounding them by combining Right Hand Man's laser beam with Henry's handguns to make laser bullets, which ended up killing all the government officials around them and allowed him and Henry to escape.
- During the Free Man route, he found out that Henry was trying to destroy the Toppat space station just by Burt Curtis telling him that someone was giving him attack signals, as Henry didn't know he was using a communication satellite rather than a laser, and Right Hand Man then subsequently killed Henry.
- During the Toppat Recruits route, he stopped Charles from destroying the Toppat rocket with the government by shooting out his rotor blade and propeller, which forced Charles to retreat, allowing the Toppats time to get into space before the government caught them.
- In the Master Bounty Hunter route, he revealed that he was going to hunt Henry down once they got set up in space but since Henry basically brought himself to him, Right Hand Man decided to give him one chance to defend himself, which ended up with Henry defeating him with a cheap stun locking tactic.
- Overall, he is the toughest enemy that Henry has ever faced as Dmitri is treated as a pathetic idiot who can't do anything right when it comes to trying to kill Henry, and Reginald is portrayed as a non-threatening person consistently throughout the series, making Right Hand Man the only genuine threat that Henry has ever faced, and Henry usually only survives against him due to his ability to summon convenient resources out of thin air, or because he has someone helping him such as the Nano Suit, Ellie and Henry using a wombo combo to gang up on him, or Henry having Charles and the government to save him after he grabbed the documents, otherwise Right Hand Man would have won during the 1st and 3rd encounters listed.
- While he does have humiliating moments, they are tame in comparison to the other franchises characters like Henry, Dmitri, or Charles who have far more humiliating and detracting moments compared to Right Hand Man, and the Right Hand Man spends the majority of his screen time as a very competent character that is consistently virtually resourceful due to many of the Toppats being useless at their jobs, so it doesn't harm his magnificence.
What Makes Him a Baddie[]
- He aided the Toppat Clan with their grand thievery for years as Reginald's Right Hand Man, meaning he was one of the most involved members in the Toppat's heists.
- He attempted to kill Henry to stop him from getting evidence on the Toppat clan or trying to arrest Reginald.
- He kidnapped Henry in the Free Man route and intended to keep him as their prisoner for the rest of his life as revenge for what Henry has done to the clan.
- In the Master Bounty Hunter route, he killed Henry's teammates and intends to finish Henry himself off too after he notices him.
- In the Toppat Civil Warfare route, he killed the loyalists that claim that Henry is still the leader of the clan.
- In Revenged, he and Henry had a 1 on 1 fight where Right Hand Man made many attempts to kill him.
Trivia[]
- So far, the Right-Hand Man is the only Henry Stickmin character to be MB.
- He is also the only character, alongside Phantom, to have their true name unknown.
