Come on, attack. I haven't got all the time in the world. Most of it, yes.
~ Savanti predicting the Turtles' ambush
Ah, Renet, you actually found me. But you're far too late. In only a matter of days, this entire city will be infected, becoming my monster slaves. Then the future will belong to monsters, monsters such as I; Savanti Romero!
~ Romero to the Turtles and Renet on his return.

Savanti Romero is a recurring antagonist in the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. He serves as the main antagonist of the episode "Turtles in Time" in Season 3 and the Monsters arc in Season 5. He was an ambitious time lord that betrayed his peers to claim the Time Scepter for himself to rule all of reality.

he was voiced by Graham McTavish.

What Makes Him Magnificent?[]

  • Has his own dry sense of humor and sarcastic wits, leading to various hilarious remarks from his mouth, which is accentuated by Graham McTavish's large ham performance.
  • Gets back to the future upon being banished to nearly claim the Time Scepter and then tracks Renet down to the present day 21st century when she took it to find the Turtles.
  • Upon being sent to the medieval ages of Europe, he causes various time alterations to lure the Turtles and Renet to an ambush, effortlessly claiming the Scepter to trap the heroes in a time loop.
  • Upon learning the heroes broke out of his time loop and evaded his undead army, he predicts the heroes' ambush and traps them using the Time Scepter's powers.
  • When the Turtles break free, he uses his powers to dodge the heroes' attacks and nearly claim the scepter.
  • Sets up a trap for Renet when Savanti anticipates her coming to the Cretaceous period to check on him, and steal her backup device to travel across the timestream.
  • Use the Turtles as his mere pawns to deal with all the traps and activate the curse that awakens the Pharoah and sway him to his side.
  • Travelling to Transylvania, he uses ultraviolent light and plays along with Drac's assumption he is a demon out to return him to the Netherworld to cow the arrogant Count to submission.
  • Organizes an ambush on the Turtles to revert Vulko back into a werewolf.
  • Manipulates Igor to be his patsy to meet Dr. Frankenstein under the guise of Dr. Piestorius, using Dracula's hypnosis to pass of as anormal human to perfect Frankenstein's rejuvenation formula.
  • Plays the heroes once again to do his dirty work in ensuring the creation of Frankenstein's monster.
  • Has his forces swarm the sewers to drive the heroes out, having already gotten Donnie to be his vampire.
  • Upon learning of Dracula's traitorous nature, he forces him to a stalemate when he found out the hard way his technological prowess is too old-fashioned to know how to use the Scepter and be partners.
  • When the Scepter is broken, is able to quickly repair it.
  • Even when defeated and about to be eaten by a T-Rex, Savanti doesn't even show fear, reacting only with the most mildest of annoyances.

What Makes Him a Baddie?[]

  • Betrayed all his peers to claim the Time Scepter for himself to rule all of reality and had sought to decimate them as revenge.
  • Makes multiple attempts to kill the Turtles and Renet for interfering with their plans.
  • Has New York City descend to chaos to begin his plot to transform all of humanity into various types of monsters.
