He is voiced by Kevin Miller.

What Makes Him Magificent?[]

  • For starters, he's a master thief, with charm, debonair, and a moral rule to only steal from other criminals.
  • He genuinely values his friendship with Bentley and Murray, as well as his allies. He also encourages them to do their best.
  • He's a master of disguise, always being able to fool everyone when wearing a costume.
  • Although he occasionally gets into slip-ups, like when his plans go bust or he gets betrayed by Neyla and Le Paradox, he's always quick on his feet to recover.
  • He loves Carmelita and faked amnesia to be with her, despite the fact that he trolls her during their chases.
  • In the first game, he defeats the Fiendish Five and recovered his family's book, the Thievius Raccoonus.
  • To further show his honorable nature, he shows respect to his family by claiming that their book didn't make them into great thieves, but their thieving skills is what make the Thievius Raccoonus.
  • He manages to distract Rajan long enough for Murray to grab the Clockwerk Wings with his great dancing skills as shown with Neyla and Carmelita.
  • He tricked a hypnotized Murray into running into hypnotized devices.
  • He defeated Clock-La, alongside his friend, and ended Clockwerk's menace over the Cooper family.
  • He broke Dimitri out of jail by distracting Carmelita and her group of mercenaries
  • He helped Murray defeat Octavio by opening up the tar values to slow him down.
  • Despite having a grudge against him for helping Clockwerk kill his father, he forgave his former enemy Panda King and allowed him to join his gang, and even rescued his daughter from a force marriage by General Tsao.
  • He tricks Carmelita into dressing up as a bride in order to have Tsao arrested.
  • He disguises himself as the pirate Cantankerous Tim to gain his partner, Black Spot Pete's trust and to find the location of Dimitri's father scuba gear.
  • He defeated Dr. M for betraying the Cooper Gang and even a took a blast to save Carmelita's life.
  • He was able to defeat both El Jefe and Toothpick.
  • He praised Murray for defeating the Grizz, and comforted Bentley after Penelope betrayed them.
  • In the fourth game, he uses his disguises with unique abilities to progress on his adventures. For example, he used the armor to sneak in and free Riochi Cooper, uses the jailbird disguise to break him and Tennesse Kid Cooper out of prison, and even fooled Le Paradox and Ms. Decibel with his fake Italian accent.
  • He saved both his family's bloodline and history, and even the entire world itself by defeating Le Paradox and his time-travel scheme.

What Makes Him a Baddie?[]

  • He breaks his family's code from time to time. Notable examples were The Queen of England's Crown Jewels, stars from Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, wallets from people on the tropical beach of Haiti, fruit from a local market in Hong Kong, art from a museum, The World's Most Expensive Bavarian Chocolate and more fruit from a local market in Shanghai.
    • Also, his family's noble code, is proven by Carmelita to be flawed because since the criminals he stole from got their possessions from stealing from innocent people, he's stealing from them by proxy. For example, he and his gang stole the Venus de Whalo that Madame D'Oinkeau gave to Dimitri as a gift after their engagement ended after she discovered that he was a forger and left town.
  • In "Flight of Fancy," he shoots down 25 planes in the blood sport ACES with glee.
  • He once stole a peg leg off of a disabled pirate despite himself finding the act cruel as part of Bentley's plan.
  • In Thieves in Time, he went back to thievery not just because his family's existence was in danger, it was also because of his natural inherited drive to be a thief, making his departure somewhat selfish. This betrayal of her trust also causes Carmelita to be angry with him until the very end of the game.
