Syanna is the sister of the Duchess Anna Henrietta and one of the main antagonists of the Witcher 3 DLC: Blood and Wine. Syanna was exiled from Toussaint by his parents,who believed she was born under a curse, after a prank committed by her and Anna. She was escorted by four knights, who had an abusive behaviour with her. Due to these events, Syanna grew up as a vengeful criminal with the goal to have revenge against the four knights and her sister.

What makes her magnificent?[]

Syanna has a genuine tragic past. Her parents always disdained her, due to their believe she was cursed, and was abused by the Royal Knights, who denied her food and repeatedly hit her. It's not hard to understand why she became a villain.
Manipulates her false lover, the higher vampire Dettlaff Van der Eretein, into killing the four knights, faking her kidnapping under the false name of Rhena and blackmailing him, threatening that if Dettlaff will not follow her orders, "Rhena" will "die"
Almost succeds into completing her plan of revenge, only being discovered by a small stain of wine on the blackmail letters
Has moral standards, as she didn't intended to cause Dettlaff's rampage across Beauclair, and she was willing to sacrifice herself to stop him
If Geralt will visit the fablesphere to bring Syanna to Dettlaff, Syanna will help the Witcher into escaping the fablesphere. She is also genuinely affable to Geralt
If Geralt gave Syanna's ribbon and indirectly saving her life from Dettlaff, and manages to convince Syanna that her sister really cared for her, she will reconcile with her.
Otherwise, in the bad ending, Syanna will kill her sister, ultimately completing her plan, at cost of her own life.

What makes her a Baddie?[]

She manipulated Dettlaff, causing great emotional damage to him, and indirectly caused his rampage on Beauclair
She killed Milton de Peyrac, whose only fault was not stopping the abuse of the other knights
She wanted to kill her sister Anna Henrietta,who was only a child, when their parents exiled her.
