Talbot is the secondary antagonist of the 2011 video game Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, the third installment of the Uncharted video game series.
He is the right-hand and a high-ranking agent of the Hermetic Order, which is led by Katherine Marlowe. He assists Marlowe in finding Iram of the Pillars so she can retrieve a brass vessel containing the spirits of called the Djinn so she can control society through fear and intimidation.
He was voiced by Robin Atkin Downes, who also voiced the Medic in Team Fortress 2.
What Makes Him Magnificent?[]
- He is given a calm and collected performance by Robin Atkin Downes, who also played another fellow MB, the Medic from Team Fortress 2.
- He shows nonstop loyalty towards Marlowe. He always following her orders, taking care of her in necessary circumstances, and was shown to be traumatized by her death and tried to avenge it by killing Nate for not saving her in time.
- He comes up with a strategy to use counterfeit money to scam both Nate and Sully so they can trade him the ring for Marlowe. Although it did backfire due to the duo found out later, it was still at least a well thought plan.
- He drugs Charlie manipulating him into giving him his journal to him and to not trust which almost had an advantage to taking Nate down.
- When Nate followed him, he was already aware of what was going to happen before throwing out the window for him being led into a trap.
- He drugs Nate and successfully leads him towards Marlowe so she can have information about how to locate Iram of the Pillars.
- He puts up a pretty good fight with Nate, which gives him some pretty cool and entertaining vibes.
- While he does have a breakdown during Marlowe’s death, he ultimately recovered from it and gets back up to have his revenge against Nate for not save her in time.
What Makes Him A Baddie?[]
- He assisted Marlowe goals into killing Nate and his friends and then helping her locate Iram of the Pillars so she can find a brass vessel of the Djinn, demonic spirits that will give people their greatest fears, so she can release them to rule the world.
- Tries to trick both Nate and Sully into trading him the ring with fake money.
- He shows no compassion towards his one of his men, since he only cared about what he was trying to get and not caring if they got killed by spiders.
- He drugs Charlie into doing his bidding which resulted in him being aggressive towards Nate and almost killing before doing the same thing to the latter to lure him towards Marlowe for information.
- Kidnaps both Nate and Sully so that they can find what they are looking for and then having them killed once they outlived their usefulness.
- Kicks Sully into the contaminated water right in front of Nate.
- Attempts to kill both Nate and Sully personally for the last time after they failed to save Marlowe from getting suffocated into quicksand.
