Technoblade is one of the two secondary antagonists of the Dream SMP.
He was first seen on September 2020 when he joined the server to help Pogtopia with the rebellion against JSchlatt's Manberg. He was primarily known as the leader of the Syndicate who viewed government authority as inherently oppressive and desired to destroy all forms of government.
What Makes Him Magnificent?[]
- He is an extremely entertaining villain, with him constantly cracking one-liners and jokes while committing atrocities.
- He is a highly capable combatant, regularly holding his own against multiple heavily-armed opponents even when at a technological disadvantage, such as the time he was ambushed while having only a netherite pickaxe as a weapon.
- He is an excellent and charismatic orator, and his lines are among the most impactful in the Dream SMP.
- He is never shown to mope when his plans fail, rather he simply moves on and tries again, showing that failure does not erode his composure.
- He has shown a manipulative side, this being evident during Tommy's exile arc where he would use subtle manipulation tactics to get Tommy to trust him. He also shows proficiency in utilizing trickery with invisibility splash potions to turn opponents against each other.
- He has shown to be able to think on his feet, such as when he stocked up backup Withers in case L'manberg would try to make a move against him.
- He is one of the few characters who is not one of Dream's pawns, although he did owe Dream a favor at one point, he has since cashed it in and has since then had little involvement in Dream's schemes.
What Makes Him a Baddie?[]
- He is willing to commit acts of mass destruction to achieve his goals, such as when he used TNT and Withers to completely obliterate L'Manberg off the face of the earth.
- He is ruthless and bloodthirsty in battle, often expressing his wholehearted desire to utterly destroy his opponent in the heat of conflict.
- During the Red Festival, Jschlatt had asked him to execute Tubbo in front of the entire server, and he agreed to do so before going on a killing rampage upon the crowd.

- He is one of two Dream SMP characters to be a Magnificent Baddie, alongside Quackity.
