~ The Auditor at the end of Expurgation. |
The Auditor is the main antagonist of the Madness Combat flash series. He is a mysterious and powerful dark being and the leader and founder of the A.A.H.W. His plans seem to somehow involve Hank, the main protagonist. He is the entity responsible for the chaos in Nevada, using the Improbability Drives to alter reality as he sees fit and revive Jesus and Tricky the Clown in their battles against Hank.
What Makes Him Magnificent?[]
- Judging by the creator's words, the Auditor seems to be somewhat well-intentioned since he doesn't seek idolization and his role is usually custodial, and he decided to form an army only due to Hank and his friends continuously screwing everything up.
- Despite being an Eldritch Abomination, he has some hilariously mundane moments, such as him drinking a sugar drink or using "BIGBADAUD999" as his handle.
- He's shown to be highly cunning in a fight, using his shadow powers in creative ways during his fights while also utilizing mundane weaponry in conjunction, managing to catch both Hank and Sanford off-guard while dominating his battles.
- He successfully manages to kill Jesus, who was shown to be an admirable foe. While this also shows a slip-up on the Auditor's part since by killing Jesus he accidentally destroys the Improbability Drive due to him having used a rocket launcher too close to it, he quickly recovers by taking Jesus's halo and using it to empower himself.
- While he has something close to a Villainous Breakdown in the fight against Hank and Sanford, where he becomes more and more violent, this isn't too bad.
- While he absorbs Tricky's corpse, which allows the clown to take control of both the Auditor's body and the halo, this was a mere mistake.
- While Hank and Sanford are fighting Tricky, The Auditor chimes in to assist the two by healing them and giving them weapons, ultimately proving vital in killing Tricky. At the end of the fight, it's shown that The Auditor pulled a gambit where Hank, Sanford and Tricky were all killed in the fight, leaving him the sole survivor and leaving him victorious for the time being
- While he has a genuine Villainous Breakdown through some posters within his hellish dimension (where he essentially says he wants Tricky out of his body at any cost), he recovers by allying himself with Hank and Sanford. By the end of Expurgation, not only he has defeated Tricky and recovered the halo, but has also seemingly gotten rid of Hank and Sanford as well.
What Makes Him A Baddie?[]
- While he seems to be somewhat well-intentioned, there's too much ambiguity to consider him trying to kill Hank and his friends non-villainous.
- He shows to be pretty brutal as he tries to kill Jesus, infecting the latter with a virus that makes him vomit blood.
- He clearly doesn't care much about his men since he has no problems with leaving them to fight on their own.
- Since he's a living gateway to the equivalent of Hell, and within his dimension we see multiple people, he's effectively damned multiple souls.
