It's a lovely morning in the village, and you are a horrible goose.
~ From the Untitled Goose Game website.

The Unnamed Goose is secondary antagonist of House House serving main protagonist of the Untitled Goose Game. Essentially a mischievous yet charming goose, they had a penchant to cause mischief and mayhem across the Idyllic English Village as it was portrayed in a whimsical manner. The reason on why they did this is because they are just a goose whose morality transcend human minds. To screw with some citizens, they tried their best to either evade from them or pulling several clever stunts to screw them all.

What Makes Them Magnificent?[]

  • Despite the Goose loves to cause mischief and mayhem towards other people, it was portrayed in a very whimsical and entertaining manner that the players can't help but to be entertained by the Goose's several antics in the game and figuring out how to finish some of the stealth puzzle in a very fun way.
  • Although most of the people that the goose pranked are pretty much innocent people, there are two people that deserved the kind of prank the goose had in store such as the sleazy shopkeeper who will steal something that she had found that isn't hers as the people will buy her stuff and a snobby man who tries to keep his yard clean by throwing several things to his neighbor's yard much to the latter's annoyance.
  • Writing its to-do list in a cursive style, showing how cultured and refined the Goose is. Also, this implies that the Goose is literate, which is an unusual characteristic for an animal.
  • Using several sophisticated strategies either for pranking people or just trying to get what they wants such as hiding himself in a box in order to enter the pub so that the delivery lady that works in the pub could mistaken them as a package or hiding a goose statue and remove the ribbon from it while pretending to be the real statue so that when the artistic gardener found the ribbon that was removed from her goose statue, she will put on the ribbon to the goose themselves.
  • At one point, instead of messing with some of the pub patrons, the goose decided to use their charisma and put a show for them in which they ended up getting entertained which resulted in the goose was given a flower from them.
  • In the final level, after the goose manage to steal the bell from the miniature village, they manage to evade the villager's capture in every turn and it was revealed that they had performed similar successful raid in the past as shown with the similar bell that they had stolen that was kept in the nest.

What Makes Them a Baddie?[]

  • They are a goose who loves to cause mischief and mayhem towards the Idyllic English Village by either pranking or trolling them. The pranks and mischief that the goose had pulled includes the likes of:
    • Honking a gardener when trying to put up a sign of "No Goose Allowed" which causes him to accidentally hammer his hand and fell to the ground which opens the second route of the game. Even before that, the goose stole his hat so that they could wear his sun hat, making him wet, steal his key, drowning his rake on the lake and stole several stuff in the garden to have a picnic.
    • Having an innocent boy trapped in a phonebooth by scaring him so that he could call the TV Shop Owner to release him while the goose uses this opportunity to be on the TV, stealing his glasses so that the boy could wear a pair of wrong glasses and also stealing the boy's toy plane so that the sleazy shopkeeper would found it as the boy would buy it from her.
    • Trapped the sleazy shopkeeper in the garage.
    • Stealing the vase of an artistic gardener which causes the snobby man to threw it and broke it to keep his lawn clean and also making the gardener accidentally cut off the rose of the snobby man which causes them to have an intense argument.
    • Stealing several of the artistic gardener and snobby man's stuff to wash it.
    • Having an old man in the pub sitting on his bum by distracting him at first and move the chair and also making him breaking the dartboard by distracting him with honking when the old man tries to play the dartboard.
    • Stealing one of the glasses in the pub and drown it at the canal.
  • Committing several vandalism towards properties or objects just to get what they want or accessing a new area. This type of vandalism can be shown where the goose attempts to wreck the miniature castle so that he could steal a precious bell and take it back to their nest.
  • The goose themselves are a serial thief who manage to perform successful raids in the past by stealing some valuable bells from the miniature village that the villagers had and keep them as a collection in their nest.
  • In the IGN Game Awards 2019, at one point, the goose scared the beaker with their honking which causes the beaker to ran away.
