I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughing. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

~ The Man' most famous quote.
The Man with No Name, also known as "the Good,'' is the main protagonist of Sergio Leone's Dollars Trilogy, also known as The Man with No Name Trilogy.
He is a rogue outlaw, who goes by several names and attempts to get large amounts of money. Despite this, he does have humanity and is honorable as well as principled. As time has gone by, he has helped the good side and done some good deeds, although always a lethal anti-hero at heart.
He's played by the legendary actor Clint Eastwood.
His character concept is played by Clint Eastwood in his prime, giving a performance that has gone down in history as one of the most iconic in all of cinema, and constituting one of the figures of classical anti-hero as well as the most famous figure in Western fiction.
He is a master Deadpan Snarker, which provides levity and makes him even cooler.
He is extremely calm, and never loses his composure, even while being tortured, brutalized, and put in life-threatening danger.
Known for being a badass gunslinger, he is capable of making accurate shots from long distance and winning every duels and fights he gets in. Not only is he a capable gunslinger but as Ramon states he is also smart and very capable in close combat as well.
In his duel with Mortimer, while he did miss his hat he manage to his the same spot for his last 3 shots.
He also intimidated 3 bandits in a town to get them to back off by shooting apples from a tree.
Being a bounty hunter is is very skilled, which the point above backs up.
In For a Few Dollars More, his victims are limited to dangerous criminals, murderers, and rapists, so he's not villainous in said movie.
He is charming to both audiences and other characters, and he successfully forms bonds and friendships in each movies.
He forms a bond with Silvanito where he saves him from being tortured by Ramon Rojo. He also saves Marisol from the Rojo family and gives her family the thousand dollars he had obtained.
He also gained Douglas Mortimer's respect and helps him obtain his revenge against El Indio.
He forms a friendship with Tuco after realizing how bad his past was and despite Tuco constantly trying to betray him, he ends up sparing him.
He is a surprisingly manipulative schemer who takes advantage of almost every situation, such as deceiving the law officials across various towns by giving them criminals and then saving them shortly before their execution, and playing the Rojo and Baxter families against each other.
While he is not completely flawless and his manipulations do fail sometimes, ending with him being ambushed by enemies, he always bounces back and emerges victorious in the end.
What Makes Him a Baddie?[]
While he does have moments of genuine heroism and humanity, his primary concern across the trilogy is money, the fact which drives him into committing some selfish, villainous and questionable actions.
In A Fistful of Dollars, he guns down a group of bandits and escalates the conflict between the Rojo and Baxter families for personal profit.
In For A Few Dollars More, he springs a criminal from jail with dynamite in order to join El Indio's gang and threatens the man running the telegram to send a message at gunpoint before tying him up.
In The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, he is a con man who kills innocent bounty hunters to keep his con going before abandoning his own partner to die in the desert.
Ironically, despite being called "the Good" out of the three, he kills more people in the film than Tuco and Angel Eyes combined.
