This proposal might come as a shock to some of you but I do believe she can qualify.
What's the work?[]
Angel Hare is an Analog Horror series made by the East Patch. It follows the protagonist, Jonah Whitman, as he tries to find his old friend, Angel Gabby and resurfaces past memories. (I recommend you watch the show to understand the proposal as I won't introduce all the characters)

Who is Gabby and what does she do?[]
The character being proposed is Angel Gabby, the main deuteragonist of Angel Hare. Angel Gabby appears on various tapes that are shown in the series. She is both self aware and sentient as she acknowledges the viewer, a young Jonah. In the first episode, she introduces herself and hopes she can be a good friend to him while also supporting Jonah. At some point, Gabby learned about Jonah's abusive father who is only referred to as HE or HIM. In the end of the second episode, she teaches Jonah ways to endure the abuse by making a personal lock for the door with a chair. Later, HE carelessly leaves a gun on the table in front of his son. Gabby was then able to instruct Jonah on how to safely disassemble it. While Jonah tries to hide it in the kitchen and toy box, Gabby states not to as there's too much traffic in the kitchen and the toy box would be incriminating. In the next episode, Gabby tells Jonah that he doesn't have to forgive someone he doesn't want to, referencing Jonah's relationship with his father, and asks him to go to a friend's house to create an alibi for a future event. It is likely that Jonah asked Gabby to get rid of his abusive father. After this, Gabby then treats HIM to a presumed death or condemnation. It is heavily implied that in order to hide Jonah's involvement, Gabby started a large flood that destroyed the records of the municipal building and wiping Jonah's memories before later disappearing for many years considering that the flood in question is similar to the Flood in Exodus. In episode 6, Jonah successfully reboots the show via the internet and meets Gabby once again who is happy and relieved to see him at peace. Later, Gabby tries to help all the troubled kids in the internet. However, this causes her to break down from sensory overload before Jonah, alongside Francis and Zaggy find Gabby. Jonah asks Gabby to wipe his memories again as he believes her time is being wasted but Gabby comforts Jonah and asks him for help to adapt to the internet. The series ends with Gabby back to her normal position
Is Gabby magnificent?[]
Absolutely. She was a constantly calm presence in Jonah's life and was the main reason Jonah was able to recover by teaching him ways to endure HIS abuse. It helps that she is pitted against HE, a Hate Sink who is a vile familial and child abuser with no positive traits and provided HIM a well deserved comeuppance for his actions despite the ambiguity of said punishment. Gabby has an incredibly comforting and calm personality overall that makes her incredibly lovable and rarely gets mad which is supported by the calming performance of Stephanie Varens. Even when breaking down, Gabby isn't particularly upset or angry when breaking down from the Internet and instead remained composed when Jonah came. Despite being angelic and believing anyone can change, Gabby isn't naive as she immediately took action when HE proved irredeemable. Gabby was successfully able to get Jonah, a young child, to take apart the pieces of a gun without causing a scene and figured out a good place to hide it. While she is incredibly powerful, she isn't a Mary Sue as she struggled with helping the internet without Jonah's help. In the fourth episode, Gabby was able to concoct an elaborate plan that would get rid of HIM and keep Jonah safe from being charged as an accomplice to murder. Additionally, she destroyed the municipal building records to cover her tracks. Overall, Gabby's ingenuity, composure and comforting presence build her magnificence.
What's the competition?[]
None. There are no characters who particularly show the MB traits other than Gabby or meet the criteria well.
Is Gabby a baddie?[]
This is the controversial part as Gabby is a Love Exalted hero who is a literal angel. I was concerned on this part for a while but I do genuinely believe she is bad enough to count. Despite being an Angelic Love Exalted Hero, Gabby can be ruthless at times. As stated before, it is likely that Gabby murdered HIM as a means to keep Jonah safe. This is supported by the fact that HE never makes any sort of appearance after "Little White Alibis" and the fact that Gabby's wording in the Tape indicates she wanted Jonah to have an alibi for the reaction of the police for a murder crime to avoid suspicion. While that alone might not be bad enough to be a Magnificent Baddie given that HE is a Hate Sink, the fact that she bothered to give Jonah an alibi by creating a false truth for the authorities indicated that she knew what she did would make Jonah an accomplice to murder. There are also other instances of ruthlessness from Angel Gabby such as flooding the municipal building in order to cover her tracks which constitutes collateral damage and endangerment which shares uncanny similarities with the flood of Exodus, further connecting Gabby to the crime. Additionally, the reality that a building was flooded implies that Gabby indirectly endangered innocent people. Moreover, Gabby's actions would inadvertently cause Jonah's mother, Eulia B. Whitman to go down a path where she stalked numerous employees of Kieth Publishing and met Giles Kieth under false pretenses as told in a cease and desist letter from Kieth Publishing themselves in order to try and find out what was actually happening with her son, something caused by Gabby herself. However, the severity of these actions rely on Fridge Horror to an extent as no innocents were confirmed to be hurt but I do believe it is enough to push Gabby into baddie territory. Gabby herself took no joy in the acts and only did them to help Jonah. Destroying HIM was necessary to maintain Jonah's safety, flooding the building was done to cover her and Jonah's tracks and Eulia's questionable acts(which are bog-standard) weren't even intentional on Gabby's part with Gabby's questionable acts being done in ways that emphasize her magnificence rather than detract from it. The story makes it clear that Gabby herself is not inherently evil and is more dedicated to helping children than doing evil acts. A short in the Official East Patch Youtube Channel gender swapping Gabby with False Gabriel from the Mandela Catalogue implies that Gabby only murdered HIM as a last resort to keep Jonah safe and that Jonah would've been a child abuser himself had it not been for Gabby's murder. As stated before, it helps that Gabby is pitted against HIM, an irredeemable child abuser Hate Sink who nearly ruined Jonah's life which would've been permanently damaged had it not been for Gabby. Overall, I believe that her ruthless methods at times, while not making her evil, are enough to make her enough a baddie for the trope.
Conclusion?[]
An easy yes from me but it is up to you to decide. You can watch the linked playlist to understand the story and I would personally recommend it as it could remove any doubt on whether or not she counts.
