Just like with the previous Arcane candidates we are not taking the Word of God statement about Arcane being canon into account due to the number of contradictions in the lore, therefore League of Legends LeBlanc will need a separate proposal as we will not be taking her action there into account.:

Leblanc arcane

Ok here with the final Arcane candidate so let us begin without further ado.

What is the work?[]

Arcane is the recent hit Western animated series based on League of Legends. Focusing relationship between Sisters Violet and Powder, the two suffer a great tragedy that results in the sister's separation and the fall of Power, causing her to work for Crime boss Silco, Silco attempts to turn the Undercity into a nation separated from the oppressive Piltover. However not only is Piltover invited but the nation of Noxus as well as Ambessa comes to Piltover to weaponize Hextehch to combat the Black Rose secret order of mages who rule from the shadow and killed her son Kino, the leader of this group being....

Who is LeBlanc and what has she done?[]

LeBlanc is the shapeshifting leader of the order of Mages known as the Black Rose. Getting into conflict with Ambessa Medarda LeBlanc would discover that Ambessa had an affair and a child with an empath mage making her want to recruit the child to the Black Rose. Capturing Ambessa's son, Kino to test him in their Labyrinths for any trace of magical power Kino would turn out not to be the child they sought resulting and in Ambessa refusing to give up Mel in exchange for Kino, he died in the Labyrinth. Later as Ambessa went to Piltover to seize control of Hextexh this caught the attention of the Black Rose who had their Piltovian agent, Amara try and kill Ambessa. Despite the failure of this assassination LeBlanc had found Mel and captured her, trapping her in Labyrinth. She would take the form of her Brother Kino to guide Mel through the trial, which would start to awaken her magical abilities via the puzzles eventually leading to Mel discovering that Kino was a fake causing LeBlanc to trap her in magical chains which were the final amount of pressure needed to full awaken Mel's power. LeBlanc would then reveal Mel's heritage of being an Empath mage, tell her that Ambessa would be part of a great Cataclysm rivaling the Rune wars, and attempt to recruit her to join the Black Rose, telling her Ambessa only valued her as a weapon. Tasking her with stopping Ambessa she gave Mel a special necklace to use before sending her on her way.

Mel successfully defeats Ambessa and uses the Necklace allowing LeBlanc to trap Ambessa in her Chain and begin extracting information from her mind however Mel ultimately decides to betray LeBlanc using her power to free her mother from her grasp as LeBlanc remarks "Sly girl"

Is she Magnificent? Can she think on his feet?[]

Yes she can, we see she is the leader of an organization of elite mages whose influence even spreads to Piltover as seen when she used an agent there to try and kill Ambessa. She shows her cunning by creating a Labyrinth designed to bring out one's magical powers by creating lethal puzzles and disguises herself as Mel's brother Kino to guide her along and successfully awaken her powers while she does not succeed in getting Mel on her side, she succeeds in her goal of defeating Ambessa and stopping the Glorious Evolution so. She always speaks in a Faux affable tone and never loses her cool even when Mel goes against her, simply remarking on Mel's craftiness

What makes her a baddie? Is she too much of one?[]

Well, she kidnapped and killed Kino, Kidnaped Mel and murdered her friends in front of her, and put her in a lethal maze that would have killed her if she did not have powers and her organization is definitely not a very moral one given the assassinations and manipulation behind the scene. Despite this, she is shown to be pragmatic and not cruel for the sake of cruelty as while I don't feel she has any genuine redeeming qualities she is opposing a cataclysm plan and at least maintains an affable persona with some villain respect even thrown in for Mel and Ambessa and due to the fact that we have MBs from this show like Viktor (Arcane) and Singed (Arcane) who have committed more wide-scale crimes (so far I bet LeBlanc will do more but as of now not) I feel LeBlanc is not too bad for this wiki.

Verdict[]

Yes to her.
