	~ Bro is bragging about his age and patience and for a good reason. It is without out a doubt his greatest skill and thanks to that he comes out of this conflict undoubtedly a winner.

What is the work?

Arcane is the recent hit Western animated series based on League of Legends. Focusing relationship between Sisters Violte and Powder, the two would suffer a great tragedy that resulted in the sister's separation and the fall of Power, causing her to work for Crime boss Silco, Silco attempted to turn the Undercity into a nation separated from the oppressive Piltover. To do this he would use the drug Shimmer to flood the Undercity and gain control. Who is Singed and what has he done?

Formerly known Corin Reveck, Doctor Reveck was a brilliant Alchemist at Piltorver beyond peer and partner of Heimerdinger. Seemingly destined for a prosperous future all would change when Reveck tragically lost his young daughter Orianna. In response to her death, Reveck would seek to find a cure to death not only to revive his daughter but to hopefully help improve humanity by removing their fear of death, causing him to resort to unethical experiments to achieve his goals. Cast out from Piltorver due to his crimes Reveck would be forced into the undercity of Zaun, now taking the identity of Singed, he would continue his experiments, finding a mutated creature named Rio, who was dying, Singed would attempt to find a way for the "mutation" to survive. Encountering a young boy named Viktor, the sickly lad who couldn't play with the other kids, Singed befriended this kid and took him in as his pupil in finding a way to save Rio. Viktor would be horrified however by the means Singed would go to keep Rio alive, which kept Rio in pain causing Viktor to leave Singed.

Singed would then continue progress on the key to curing death and enter the employ of the crime lord Silco, creating for him the drug Shimmer, a powerful drug that enhanced the Subject physical abilities in strong doses, allowing Silco to flood the streets with Shimmer and rule the Undercity. Singed however was caught in an explosion caused by Powder, scarring his face, forcing him to wear mast and bandages from the burns. Despite this Singed would find Vander's body, still barely alive thanks to Shimmer and his strong will to live, keeping for his eventual experiment. In the present he would be approached by Viktor, now dying from his illness understanding why Singed would go to such lengths to keep Rio alive. Singed after being told about the issue with Hextech and the biological matter, offering Viktor Shimmer to help with compatibility though not before offering a solemn warning

Singed would then be approached by his boss Silco, bringing him a dying Jinx. Singed would then prepare to begin a painful process using Shimmer to save her though not before putting Silco to sleep for his sanity, indicating that someone who was a father like him would not be able to bear his daughter being in pain. He would successfully save her life, giving her superhuman abilities in the process. Singed after the death of Silco would get to work on his latest project to revive his daughter, Warwick. Beginning by hunting down two wolves and killing them using poison gas to get the drop on them he would use their two Hearts along with his own blood, and the final form of the Shimmer, to succeed in reviving Vander as Warwick. However, he was unable to restore his mind, leaving him as little more than a beast with a hunger for blood. Needing a new Employer to complete his research he intentionally allowed himself to be captured by enforcers at a Rally for Jinx, cutting his hand just as he was caught, summoning Warwick who he knew would follow the trail of Blood. Allowing Warwick to rampage in the prison Singed would lock himself in his own cell and wait for Ambessa and Caitylnn to find him with Cait having figured out that he summoned the beast. Despite her threats to lock him up for life, Singed is not phased in the slightest, stating he could wait as long as he needed. However, he knew he wouldn't have too, knowing Warwick had caught the eye of the warlord Ambessa which was his plan all along, making a deal with her that for his loyalty she would fund all his research. Preparing to hunt Warwick when confronted by Cait who had discovered his previous identity as Corin Reveck, Singed would show them his daughter, telling them that he believed that Warwick could be used to cure his daughter.

Singed and Ambessa would then track Warwick to Viktor's commune, with Singed attempting to negotiate with Viktor. Deducing that Viktor's healing power was finite and that would soon run out he suggested that Viktor use the Apex Shimmer running in Warwick's veins to stabilize himself, allowing him to complete his work to save humanity through Viktor after further debates with Singed over human nature would refuse to sacrifice Warwick, with Singed leaving with a warning that if Viktor died his commune would fall too. Later reporting back to Ambessa Singed would then concoct a serum to prevent Viktor from succeeding in restoring Warwick however before being able to apply the serum he would be choked into unconscious by Caitlyn who was working with Vi to save Vander. Surviving the destruction of the commune Singed would recover Warwick and a mortally wounded Viktor and would put Viktor in a pod and supply him with Warwick's blood to stabilize him allowing Viktor to be revived, earning his praise. Helping Viktor with his plan to seize the Hexcore and begin the GLORIOUS EVOLUTION Singed would at Viktor's command use the Serum to erase Vander from Warwick and complete the process of turning Viktor into his peak form, allowing for him to transform himself and his followers for the upcoming battle. Singed would then use Shimmer to enhance Ambeassa's troops for the attack on Piltover. Singed would sit out the final battle and successfully evade and justice with him using what he had extracted from Viktor and Warwick to successfully create the cure to death allowing for his daughter Orianna to be revied in a robotic form with the two last being scene listening to a music box Singed had made for her.

Is he Magnificent? Can he think on his feet?

Oh yes, he is, this due is always calm and composed speaking in an affable tone, he has dignity and intelligence in spades. He was a geu9ienus alchemist before his villainy and during his villainy created Shimmer, a truly powerful drug that could enhance the subjects. He is also shown to be able to figure out situations on the fly, deducing the issue with the Hex core despite never seeing it, figuring out that Shimmer could help stabilize biological matter for interaction between the two and even deducing Viktor's true motive for asking him, his impending death. He also shows his ability to predict situations by allowing himself to be caught and imprisoned all so he could summon Warwick and have him go on a rampage and wait for Ambessa to arrive, predicting that she would be impressed with the Beast's power enough to recruit him, allowing him greater resources. He also figured out how to perfect Viktor using Warwick's apex shimmer and Hex Tech to help begin the glorious revolution

Most important of all however is how Singed out of every character in Arcane who either died or one at great cost, Singed walks away undoubtedly a winner from the whole ordeal. Not only does he escape capture and death for his crimes but thanks to perfecting Viktor he is finally able to craft his, cure from death, which he uses to revive his daughter in a robot body, finally succeeding in his life-long goal (though if complications arise from his daughter figures out what he did to get to this point I could not say). His success alone should speak to how he is more than Magnificent e enough for this trope

What makes him a baddie? Is he too much of one?

Ok let's get this out of the way, Arcane and League of Legends are blatantly incompatible at this rate. Other than the massive game-changing retcons like funnily enough Singed being Corin Reveck, Cait losing an Eye, or the fact Jayce and Viktor straight up die in the finale should make it clear that events from League do not apply to Arcane for vice versa. Therefore Singed's crimes in League of Legends lore that are not in the show are not going to be taken into account as not only is Singed not even remotely the same character between the two but how Warwick is made is very different between the two. So his disgusting crimes do not apply to the version of Singed we look at today.

That being said though even looking at just Arcane Singed is a nasty dude, he used unethical means to keep Rio alive something that shows the creature in pain, he created the drug Shimmer allowing Silco to flood the undercity with Shimmer which further decreased the standard of living in Zaun and created addicts. He turned Vander into a ravenous beast that would hunt Human blood and allowed him to rampage in Stillwater prison and kill whoever got in his way and was fine with Supplying warmonger Ambessa with his research for her conquests in exchange for his needs being met and worst of all he completely strips the Vander part of Warwick with his serum and allows Viktor to reach his final form, aiding him in his plan to begin the GLORIOUS EVOLUTION. While this is all very bad it's worth noting that a lot of these crimes are shared by characters who aren't Pure Evil themselves like Silco who shares blame in the Shimmer situation but gets by due to his WIE goal and humanity and Viktor who was the one who told Singed to use the Serum who in an Anti Villain. Singed turning Vander into Warwick while bad is less vile than his OG counterpart who kidnapped the man and tortured and mutilated him to turn him into the beast and did it because "lol science" while the Arcane one turned a mostly dead Vander into Warwick, lacks the more vile details of the OG in how he made Warwick and did it for a more sympathetic goal.

On that note Singed himself has a plethora of redeeming qualities, he is affability evil at all times being sure to be respectful, especially to his superiors and fellow scientists, he is shown to have a few Pet the Dog moments as he took in Viktor as his pupil due sympathizing with his loneliness and being sure to warn Viktor on the consequences of going down the same path as him, knocked Silco before experimenting on Jinx out due to understanding why a parent would not be able to bear seeing their child harmed, and despite his cruel method of Rio he is seen petting her still showing he cares for her in a twisted way. Most importantly he has the genuine tragedy of losing his daughter who he loves dearly and is seen keeping his locket near him at all times and does everything to revive his daughter leading to his well-intentioned goal to not only revive his daughter but his own twisted way help humanity by finding a cure to death, hoping to take away the fear of it for human beings. As Nasty as he is the context of his actions combined with his redeeming qualities make him not too bad for this wiki in my estimations
