Wednesday Friday Addams is the titular main protagonist of the Netflix series of the same name.
She is an anti-social outcast who her parents sent to an outcast school called Nevermore. A series of murders occurred from the Hyde monster after she arrived, and begins investigating to see who it is. She somewhat reluctantly became best friends with Enid Sinclair.
She is portrayed by Jenna Ortega.
What Makes Her Magnificent?[]
- She can see the past and the future to prepare for the dangers ahead, making her very intelligent and cool. It even managed to summon Goody Addams.
- She possesses a wide variety of talents, including being an expert tactician, fencer, archer, martial artist and cellist, fluent in German and able to read in Latin and Italian, very knowledgeable in biology of carnivorous plants and human anatomy, and having a unique way of fixing stuff.
- Despite not being that charismatic as she is rather aloof and antisocial, her planning and thinking on her feet make up for her lack of charisma.
- She has slick dance moves that even enamored the audience, which went viral upon the series premiere.
- She has a bunch of admirable moments, such as solving the mysteries and murders on her own to save people from dying, defending Eugene from bullies, nearly sacrificing herself to save Xavier from an arrow and killing Joseph Crackstone.
- She truly cares for Enid and Eugene, proving more than once that she is friends with the latter and is the best friend of the former despite their occasional disagreements.
- She defeated Laurel Gates.
What Makes Her a Baddie?[]
- She sends piranhas into a swimming pool to torture Pugsley's bullies, leading to one of them losing a testicle, although they deserved it to some extent.
- She vandalizes Joseph Crackstone's statue after seeing the truth which causes her to get into trouble with the principal and the crowd to get into a panic.
- She sometimes has no hesitations to threaten Thing to do her bidding.
- In her worst moment yet, she ended up accusing Xavier of being the Hyde even if he was set up, which resulted in his life getting ruined.
- She can be abusive to Enid. In one extreme case, she nearly got her and herself killed which made Enid leave her room and have a sleepover at Yoko's apartment even when Wednesday apologized.
